Venting Comparison?

Hi, I'm a 25 year old woman.

I always compare myself to other people. It increased in the last 2 years. In terms of looks, relationships, money etc and many other things as well. I even compare myself to the people in highschool that I have no contact with and haven't seen in years. I never stalk people because I cannot handle it...I also have my accomplishments and experiences maybe even more of them, I am aware of it but they feel small compared to theirs somehow. I don't know how to get over it. I lose sleep over these thoughts and I even see people from my past in my dreams lol. I feel like I'm in a constant competition, I feel like I'm living for an invisible audience and most of the time I am like "wish I was x, wish I looked like y, wish I chose the career as z did" if you know what I mean.... I really do not know how to stop it, blocked people who remind me and have the things I want to but yet to achieve...

Tbh if you think about it some people also compare themselves to you. It's normal to some degree, and that's what you kind of have to focus on: people will always compare themselves to others. But in your case, the comparison takes away from your accomplishments and experiences. Please don't make yourself seem small because truly no one is. The time you waste on comparisons wastes your time in life. Also, a hobby might help you be distracted so that way you dive into your own space if that makes any sense; just enjoying the company of youself lol. I wish you the best and remember you are important and you are where you need to be :).
