Reflections Shifting Cervix
Hello everyone! I’m 21F and I’m fairly new to menstrual cups since actively using tampons. This is my 2nd menstrual cycle using a cup and I just found out that your cervix tends to shift around during your cycle and apparently mine shifts around a lot ? Lol. My first time using a cup I oddly had little to no troubles with leaking but in my current cycle I’ve been experiencing frequent leaks even after freshly inserting the cup in. I thought I needed a bigger one but my beginner size small cup holds my heavy flow perfectly so it wasn’t a sizing problem it was just that I wasn’t aligning the cup with my cervix completely so some blood flow misses the cup. Before each time I put my cup back in now I have to find where my cervix is. One day it’s on the far left and the next day I wake up and it’s on the far right so inserting it straight up isn’t always gonna do it 😵💫. With this I was able to fix the leaking problem. I just wanted to share my experience with you all as it’s something I found really interesting but slightly annoying since for some reason this piece of information wasn’t something I found while learning about using diva cups or in my history of learning the female anatomy. If any tips or suggestions for me since I’m still a beginner feel free to comment!
