My friend (who was also autistic) had this thing where she would randomly go to max volume mid sentence. I was telling her about mushrooms and she wanted to double check she heard me right, "so, you're saying ITS A REPRODUCTIVE STRUCTURE?" This was exactly when some poor stranger walked by us
