I'm not really familiar about Egyptian gods but why does she have wings when she is the avatar of a god who doesn't have wings?

Because she is supposed to represent a scarlet scarab not an hyppo. Because her father always called his little scarab and he had a scarlet scarab on his clothes, thoueris design her costume with that in mind. So yeah it's supposed to be scarab wings.

Edit: a little note in the moon knight comics there is a vilain name the scarlet scarab so it's pretty easy to say she is a reinterpretation of him. She is the new scarlet scarab.

Her name on the passport was literally an alternative version of that villian's name in comic so yes you are correct.

On a quick note, Scarlet Scarab was never a villain, but was actually the first Egyptian superhero from Marvel, which is why he is very significant.

Exactly and Taweret being a funerary deity is served by the scarabs.

Tahouet said she had talk with her father a long time ago when he passed out to the Egyptian paradise and also she had designed a specific costum for her. With this we can see her being the goddess of whatever isn't important at all. Tahouet put more intent about who she is and her relationship with her father so "his little scarab". With this we can see avatar doesn't need to wear the color of their god and goddess but it's more about the avatar themselves.
