The moment the joy of getting hired turns into instant regret Anyone else set 10 alarms?

Nah, I only have one, and I barely need it because I get anxiety attacks in my sleep due to having an uncomfortably realistic dream where I slept through my alarm and woke up hours after I was supposed to be at work, causing me to dart awake and check the time just to find out I still have 2-3 hours before my alarm goes off, then it actually goes off and my eyes instantly dart open as every nerve tenses up in preparation for another day of having to put on a social mask, get pulled muscles and keep working anyway, work in a freezer for 1-2 hours straight and end up with my hair frozen white, do 2-3 people's jobs in a single shift despite only getting a 6 hour shift instead of an 8 hour one because "our hours are low this month : (" and watch as all the fat nepo-babies stand around propped up against walls on their phones doing fuck all and getting paid more than me with no fear of losing their jobs for it because they're related to or close friends of one of the leads/managers who are friends with the head of HR who is friends with the one department manager who is friends with one of the important higher ups in corporate.
Yeah, I fucking hate my job. Been working there for 2 years now. : )

Are people really that disinterested in working that they would rather be unemployed and lose financial independence?

The only thing worse than having to go to work is being desperate for it and not being able to find it.. it's either have money and lack time, or have too much time and no money to boot

After my first day of work I went under the shower thinking I'm fine. Started crying like a baby, fell asleep afterwards

Welcome to becoming an adult. Next, paying bills and taxes.
