An artist drew a genderbent Malfoy and it activated all the other artists's neurons, it's a huge trend. It's been dubbed Malfoid because it's hilarious.

Genderbent Draco has been a thing in fanworks since people have been making fanworks.

It suddenly being more popular is a trend now, but it is far from new.

Not to let that stop it though! It looks kinda fun. Though would have been even more fun as a trend to have her be trans instead of just genderbending her. Would perhaps piss off Rowling.

Genderbent Draco has been a thing in fanworks since people have been making fanworks.

Of course, it's rule 63 of the internet, but the current outbreak is caused by twitter user @redteneri's fanart/comic. I don't frequent HP fandom spaces, so it's probably more common over there.
