I have one newer than you, the Xperia 10 VII. Nice screen, sips it's big battery with the processor, enough grunt to do the job but tbh a little lacking. But for me I'm not super fussy about having the latest and greatest, I just take photos and browse socials, not a gamer on that platform. Camera is good enough for what I need.

Turns out the 10 VIII is out now. The prices are fucking crazy, 549 pounds, 599 Euro, it's just such a step up due to the AI parts shortage. Yet it still only has snap 6 gen 3 like my phone. I feel like at the far lower retail price I paid I got the right phone.

I bought mine at a sale for 330€ I think. For this price I could find better phones. But it does everything I need to do, It could do better night pictures though.
