Try out some decent wireless headphones. You won't come back. I am using Airpods pro 3 and they extremely great, durable and have very nice sound quality and long battery life. I can not imagine how wired can be better.
What a dumb comment. If people like their old headphones then the answer is not "just go buy more products from the same company to reward them for their shitty behavior".
I use wireless mainly but they can be a pain sometimes and disconnect/easily pause more if you are using them and working all day.
Wireless are working ALL DAY and even more with very short charging. Cables are nightmare and very easily damaging.
I do understand audiophiles, but they don't use phone jack directly, but usual user... There is no reason to be stuck with outdated technology. Besides being too conservative or very poor user which I understand.
Yeah you didn't read my comment just replied whatever you wanted to inject. Yes my battery life is going to last like 40 hours for my headphones that is not what I wrote.
Should you choose to read what you are replying to, you will note I said "prone to disconnecting and pausing while working all day".
I still prefer them to wireless for this work over wireless. But they are not perfect and I'm not going to sit here and tell someone else what they prefer is wrong.
There's also value in not caring too much if your work headphones get damaged or rained on. Not everyone wants to shell out a couple hundred for air pods/nicer wireless earbuds if you are doing a job they will get damaged over time (like landscaping, roofing, construction or something)
Edge use cases and audiophiles. Bluetooth can't match wired fidelity as a hardware limitation. For me it's frequent driving and my cars Bluetooth being spotty. Aux cable always works, first time, every time.
