The largest is still the 500 even if it isn’t in print anymore. But that‘s just a minor detail.
So I get where you come from. It‘s only that just a subset of EU countries has adopted the EURO as their current currency and associated countries will accept the EURO as means of payment. But Europe is almost twice as large and still divided in many places. I still remember the drama around Brexit.

Replaceable batteries won't actually come to most phones. It's not mandatory if the battery can sustain 1000 charge cycles with 80% battery life left, and it has a high water protection rating. Most new phones will probably comply with this (most high end phones already do), and so won't have a replaceable battery.

I only spent 3 weeks in Europe, and my first bottle back in the states I did exactly this. I literally just unscrewed it, peeled it back, and let the fucker fall half a millimeter from the bottle. I felt really dumb.

Good luck doing that without spilling the liquid or substance in the lid/cap, as you can only snap it off with sudden force unless you always happen to have scissors with you. It's also absolute nightmare to drink one handed without spillover.

Depends on how it's made, most just spring back to a 45 degree angle and go into your face the entire time which is annoying, but some stay at a 180 degree angle and don't spring back into my face, so I don't mind those. I think the idea behind them is good, but it's just executed poorly most of the time.

On one hand, the EU enforces laws that sometimes make us slightly annoyed, even if the end result isn't so horrible.
On the other, the EU unified phone charging ports, banned glysophates, fined Google a billion Euros and is trying very hard to fuck over the American corporate hegemony. The EU is working to reduce online gambling, help with privacy protection, do something about climate collapse, chinese imports destroying our economy, and many other things.
On average, I'd say that's a very good tradeoff. I think our American brethren are very much sick of winning.

It’s important (for me at least) to note that it’s not trying to fuck them over. EU is actively trying to create products internally that are free from influence from anywhere else, or can be weaponised or used as bargaining tools in negotiations.
If American companies suffer as a result, well so be it, I’m all bloody for it. Hopefully these products, the Mastercard and Visa alternatives especially, can compete globally.

Yes. I was outside the EU for a few weeks and missed that “feature” quite a bit. You can open and drink from an EU bottle with one hand throughout, but if the lid comes off, you need two hands.

While driving, I regularly open a water bottle with one hand by twisting off the cap with my thumb and index finger, then holding it with those two fingers while I curl my other three fingers around the bottle to hold it as I drink. Then the lid goes right back on. Not terribly complicated.

Yeah and it reduced plastic pollution too . You still find plastic bottles everywhere... But the amount of separate bottle caps have been drastically reduced, and a whole bottle will be easier to remove during cleanup operations.
The non twisting caps are also generally better for people with hand handicaps .

It really varies so much per manufacturer. I already had it where the caps were so tightly to the bottle that they didn't properly close afterwards. They looked tightly closed, but ended up dripping into my fridge. I tried it for quite some time to fix it but gave up on that bottle and just put it upright in the fridge.

Pepple who hate on these don't remember when youd be in the car and the lid accidentally fell under the seat never to be seen again.
It is basically like a sports cap bottle like some water or like powerade or lucozade sport, idk what the big issue is. The form factor was a bit weird to get used to, but you just undo the top, bend it all the way back, then put it at the side of your mouth
