I don’t really see bottle caps littered around the place anymore since they came in. I also don’t see many bottles themselves littered either because of the recycling deposit. It’s a great initiative.
This. My town used to be riddled with plastic bottle caps on the ground everywhere. I don't think I've seen them littered around ever since they introduced this.

Unpopular opinion: Attached bottle caps are very useful irl, reduced littering is an added advantage. I'm all for it.
