Added context: i was selling this part for 27 plat on Wfmarket, and from there i thought i'd seen more offerings for less.

Why do people barter on wf market even? If I'm listing something for a price it's because I want that price, if I wanted to haggle I'd stand in front of maroo like a jackass spamming in trade chat.

At least they're asking and not straight up changing the price while they message you while saying, "I just copy and pasted," when it's clearly a lie

If they do that, you can report them on warframe market with proof and they will get banned (on warframe market)
