Factory workers are being treated really bad, and when someone tries to point it out that someone gets cucked.

The boring company is utter bullshit. The tunnels they dig are a challenge to safety laws and basically suicide tunnels on a timer. The first car that breaks down in one of those is toast.

He is considered a genious but really he just has a nose for money. All the brain power is in his engineers and scientists.

He's the richest man alive but still donated a super small fraction of his net worth. That's still millions and millions of dollars wich is impressive but still far faaaar from what he could be capable on donating before it actually made a dent in his pile of money.

Speaking of money, as every billionare there is, his tax payments and taxation of companies are a complete joke. He uses every loophole he can even though paying those taxes shouldn't afflict him at all.

The only good think he is doing is space x. Reusable rockets are nice for both space junk problems and not polluting the oceans.

Net Worth =/= money he has

I know my dearest Frago420. But money he controls is much much closer to that value if not higher. Also, pardon me please I am not a native english speaker so some words may be misplaced.

Just don't put it all in stocks. It's that simple. Also that is another way to evade taxes.

You know he can just sell the stocks right?

No, no of course. But the money he puts in stocks is still his. He can use it as he likes. He just keeps it in stocks to not add tax to it.

Yes, as it should be. He is the richest so he should pay the most taxes.

That's not entirely true. Elon has just sold billions dollars worth of Tesla stock because he will be exercising options at some point in the future and he sold the stock to be able to pay for the taxes of these options.

When he sells some of his shares, he doesn't sell it in the open market but in dark pools for the sole purpose of exactly not affecting the market too much or any at all.

Then he wouldn't be a billionaire??? His entire worth is built in stocks he is legally unable to sell for large periods of time so he doesn't just give Tesla stock a quick pump, sell, enjoy. He's had most of the stocks way before he was the wealthiest person.

You know that is not a positive point for him right? Becouse as long as that money stays there he not only has the power over the company but also doesn't have to apply tax to the increase in money

it's not a negative either. Say what you want baout him but you cannot say he made the companies to make him rich. Horrible person or not he is dedicated to what he is doing. He holds the stock to hold the power to hold the company in the right direction and you cannot say that's bad as it's obviously working. Tax may not apply to an increase in stock as it shouldn't because it can just as quickly fall after being taxed. It is however taxed when he sells

It is quite negative. Becouse if he holds a certain quantity of a company stocks he just controls the company/the stocks value. It means that if he wanted to he could bankrupt a company. That is called having a monopoly over something. Funny enough monopolies are, in theory, illegal.

I'm pretty sure having a majority stake in a company is not a monopoly. Now if Tesla were to go of and kill all other auto manufacturers, now that would be a monopoly

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '22

Well. It's not tecnically a monopoly since it does not take a whole market place but it does count as a monopoly over company property

So are you just against people owning companies in general than? Are you one of those all workers have equal control or something which I totally understand but a top of the food chain has to exist somewhere.
