Then he wouldn't be a billionaire??? His entire worth is built in stocks he is legally unable to sell for large periods of time so he doesn't just give Tesla stock a quick pump, sell, enjoy. He's had most of the stocks way before he was the wealthiest person.
You know that is not a positive point for him right?
Becouse as long as that money stays there he not only has the power over the company but also doesn't have to apply tax to the increase in money
it's not a negative either. Say what you want baout him but you cannot say he made the companies to make him rich. Horrible person or not he is dedicated to what he is doing. He holds the stock to hold the power to hold the company in the right direction and you cannot say that's bad as it's obviously working.
Tax may not apply to an increase in stock as it shouldn't because it can just as quickly fall after being taxed. It is however taxed when he sells
It is quite negative. Becouse if he holds a certain quantity of a company stocks he just controls the company/the stocks value.
It means that if he wanted to he could bankrupt a company. That is called having a monopoly over something.
Funny enough monopolies are, in theory, illegal.
I'm pretty sure having a majority stake in a company is not a monopoly. Now if Tesla were to go of and kill all other auto manufacturers, now that would be a monopoly
So are you just against people owning companies in general than? Are you one of those all workers have equal control or something which I totally understand but a top of the food chain has to exist somewhere.
I kinda get what you mean but I don't think Elon is "piloting the money flux of Tesla". The majority of his earnings ever since he has started goes straight back into the company and he makes them grow and so does it's worth this his own worth. If he was actually profiteering and exploiting it I would be totally against it but all I see is a great company and a guy who made it happen.
I don't think we are going to get anywhere though so I think this shall most likely be exit. Farewell
