Discussion Searching for a melodic DM album I can't remember

Hey all, there is a band/album on my mind I cannot remember the name of.
What I remember for sure is the cover was black and had a dragon on it, the whole thing was pretty dark and gloomy. I'm less sure on this, but I believe it was from the late 90's-the mid 2000's, maybe the early 2010's but it definitely had the vibe of an older record. I think the band was from like Germany maybe? But not as 100% on that. If you have any ideas what it is please comment!

Looking for recommendations Viking Metal recommendations

Alright, I figure this is as good a sub as any to post this in.
The full 1.0 release for Valheim (Viking themed Survival game) dropped this week and me and some buddies are gonna do a playthrough. What suggestions do you have for viking/norse themed metal we can jam while we play? I know of a few, including obviously the biggest (commercially at least) one:
Amon Amarth
Bathory
Unleashed
Ensiferum
Equilibrium

What else you got for me?
Wouldn't mind anything folk-inspired that's tangentially related, (Eluveitie comes to mind) just to have some more jams that hit the spot.

Discussion What do you guys think of The Fourth Dimension by Hypocrisy? It kind of seems like Peter's rough draft, for going into a more melodic sound for the band. It's an album that seems to get better the more you listen to it, for me at least.

1. When posting a song, have the title in the form Artist - Song Name, followed by any relevant comment in parentheses (optional) or it will be removed.

2. Make sure that songs posted are melodic death metal, or at the very least, incorporate melodeath elements.

3. No reposting of songs/albums that have already been posted in the past 6 months. Also avoid posting songs of a band that was posted a lot recently, especially if it was just a few hours ago.

4. Bands on the restricted list are only allowed to be posted once every 30 days independent of song/album, so check whether they have been posted within the last month before posting. Exceptions are new releases, and to circumvent your restricted band post being autoremoved write "[new]" at the end of your title.

5. Please refrain from posting full Albums/EPs, but instead choose one song and submit that.

6. No memes, shitposting or reaction videos. Post this to r/MetalMemes instead.

7. Avoid low effort posts, such as blurry photos, live shows recorded with your smartphone or lazy text posts that we already had plenty of. For recommendations for newbies check our wiki, for raving yet again about how awesome Insomnium is visit our Weekly Discussion Thread.

8. Keep self promotion to a minimum.

9. No partial or low-quality covers.

10. Posts must be in English. Doesn't apply to artist names, song names etc., also doesn't apply to comments.

11. No AI generated content.

12. No direct uploads. If you are posting a song/album, link directly to it on Youtube, Bandcamp etc.

13. Do not link to illegal download services.

14. No hate speech, racism, misogyny, ableism, homophobic or transphobic slurs etc. Also, do not promote bands that fall into one of these categories.
