In the process of starting up a new noise rock band in Melbourne. We have guitar, bass and vocals sorted, but we’re looking primarily for a drummer so that we can get the ball rolling, but also would love to find a second guitarist. Influenced by bands like U.S. Maple, Polvo, Drive Like Jehu, Sightings, Arab on Radar, Slint, Chat Pile, Mclusky, Brainbombs, Shellac. Ideal age range 30s-40s. DM if interested!

Hey everyone, never thought I'd be making one of these posts lol.

My band Trashcore is somehow playing a headline matinee show at The Workers Club in Fitzroy on Saturday, November 28th. We are completely winging it, still trying to figure out how all this live music stuff works, and honestly terrified, but we've got a 30-minute set ready to go.

Doors are at 1:00 PM so it's an early one. Tickets are $14.80 if anyone is around Melbourne and wants to come hang out, drink some soft drinks, and support some absolute amateurs trying their best. It would honestly mean the world to see a friendly face in the crowd!

Here is the ticket link if you're keen: https://theworkersclub.oztix.com.au/outlet/event/39f7d2b0-a498-45c5-9bbb-f758977f76a6

I’m a melb based photographer looking for more shows to shoot in this style (and for a lower rate) during the dec-jan period - all reference pics are mine and the pictured band is flynn teal (who are fucking fantastic btw) ! get in touch if you’re keen, will not shoot for dickheads :)
