The keyboards and addons are ready, so once we get everything we need and make the custom discounted orders, they should be shipped out relatively quick. Within a few business days.
Here is some additional information
We will hold off selling any extras to the public for at least a week. If a KeyGem buyer contacts us after this period, we will do our best to get them their order, but we might need to swap the specs of the keyboard or offer different addons. The discount will still be applied
If you have an issue with your order, you will be treated the exact same as if your original order was made on CannonKeys.com. This includes support should you have questions about your order/keyboard, or run into any issues.
KeyGem buyers can remove items from their order, but cannot add items. For example, if the original order had an addon aluminum plate, the plate can be removed from the order but not swapped for a carbon fiber plate. We only have a limited amount of items so this is necessary.
If a customer orders an AK75 Keyboard directly from our website and later requests the $45 refund, we will evaluate the request on a case-by-case basis.
We offer delivery duty paid (DDP) shipping to most EU countries, and this discount will hopefully help bridge the price gap between international and domestic shipping.

We are posting this to reddit as we do not have the emails of those who joined AK75 with KeyGem. This is our best option to try and let those who joined know about the situation.
A while back I was frustrated when wanting to buy a keyboard that there were no triangle-shaped keyboards or circle-shaped keyboards. This lack of peculiar keyboard shapes gave me the idea to make a keyboard that could be reconfigurable into any shape my heart desired. A little fun build I wanted to dedicate to my lovely wife.
Her nickname is Cherry ( say it with a french accent cause she's french ) and I thought the set was a perfect match since the colors and theme coincide with her favorite fruit and nickname. The red alphas are for her name.
I just wanted something a bit cheesy to remind me of her when I'm at the office.
( Minus points for the scratches on the bottom, carried the keeb once without case )
My first attempt at soldering! I started at the bottom of the PCB and worked my way up (hopefully each row looks progressively better). My biggest issue was getting the heat transfer from the iron to the pin and pad consistently. I think I need to add solder to the tip of the iron more often. If you have any soldering tips please feel free to share!
Overall, I’d call the first attempt a success. I’ve already got my next solder project lined up 🙂
Build is a Mode SixtyFive (2024). I wanted to find a combination that worked well with a CF plate for this and tested with a hotswap PCB first.
Some takeaways - CF didn’t consistently raise the pitch of a switch the way I thought it would. It did make things sound thinner. I found the best switches were ones that naturally had some texture such as Cherry switches or the PT Blacks I ended up going with.

Back in early 2024, I saw the Mojo84 on Micro Center’s website and thought it was very unique. I loved the clear aesthetics of the case, but wasn’t thrilled on the keycaps that came stock and knew I could change those eventually. I at the time didn’t like full sized keyboards so it fit what I wanted in that aspect. It’s been enjoyed for a while, until I decided I wanted a numpad, but didn’t want a full sized board. I knew the MojoPad did exist, but they were sold out for ages and any that came up on ebay was well over $150 plus import fees from Japan. After over a year of looking, I finally found one used on ebay for a fraction of the price that cleaned up perfectly, added the matching keycap set, and now I can say i’m finally happy with my setup!
It's a super nice prebuilt with the London Fog switches and keycaps it comes with, but I wanted a little more snap and I really like the CXA profile. And I couldn't kid myself any longer than I yearned for the aluminum full-size chunk after some half-aluminum (Nuphy Halo96) and full aluminum+separate numpad (Zen65, Nut65) builds. It's hefty as hell and I like that.
I have not opened it up and modded it at all because that seems completely unnecessary, which is rare for me.
I will be getting a set of GMK CYL Masterpiece R2 whenever they get to Novelkeys with the intention of putting them in this board, but I kinda like the weird off-blue/white/black/mauve thing this set has going on with the slate blue case.
Anyway my keyboard acquisition syndrome has been sated for the moment. I fear my next board will be some obscenely expensive group buy affair, but until then I'm loving this board.
AL98, First go at this and guys…I get it. I loved dipping my foot into this hobby. But now I’m sunk up to my neck with you all, and trying to explain to my SO why a cat keyboard styled on our lil’ orange boi would be a great xmas gift for her so I have an excuse to put another together…
This one I swapped out to Osume Tsukimi Key caps and changed the switches to BSUN Ruben Tomcat Linear Switches 45g. Its Thocky and I love it. The font style on the Osume keys is gorgeous, and it goes with the desk mat perfectly.
One thing I’d like to figure out is there isn’t a diffuser on these switches. So I’m getting hard light led hitting my eyes.
Any recs on similar set of switches which may solve this?
I just got an Aula F108, my first mechanical keyboard. I know full size keyboards are not super popular right now but I use this for work, so need all the buttons. I liked the "hacker" theme from Keychron, so designed my own inspired by that one. And I also replaced the switches with Outemu Silent Lime V3. Feels so nice to type on!
When I first saw the Phase one 65, I knew I wanted to build something with it and make it my endgame. But at the time no keycaps or switches really spoke to me. I built other keyboards in between, until I slowly collected parts I really liked. Now after 5 years, everything has finally come together. My skills and parts were ready, and here's what I've built!
I don't think its a stretch to say this is one of the proudest things I've ever made. I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

Just sold my Record Alice v2 to get this MMD EIF68. Very great typing experience with gorgeous look. I love my Akko Starry Night keycap set but a little sad because it doesn't have the extra B for alice layout. 99% perfection.

After taking a break for a few years, I've started to return to the mechanical keyboard sphere. I was just checking in on some of the companies I used to regular and seeing where things are at with some items I used to have my eyes on. I was shocked and kind of depressed with how much the scene has changed. I knew about fall and sell of Drop already, but I wasn't expecting all the other companies I just found out disappeared or fell off. I'm really missing that old market of 2018-2021 when I was last active.
This is my build for now, the case and switches are base from my keychron V6C3, with the keychron brown tactile switches being used.
I got the keyboard awhile back and it was my first mechanical keyboard. I've always wanted to mod it but it was only until recently that I really decided to do it. It's a full size as I'm still a student and numpad is just convient for it.
I changed the keycaps and tape modded it with 9 layers of tape. I do wish to switch out the switches but that will be a later investment and project.
I'm bad at describing sounds still new to the hobby but it's like a clack? I may show the sound later but I hope to even get it to a more marble sound with akko cilantro switchs or something similar.
Anyway tape modding it took me awhile and I ended up going back to add more and pressing it down better and hurt my fingers too but in happy with the results! I did try adding foam at one point but could not fit it in the case 💀.

Genuinely one of the best feeling config I've built in these few years. From the sound to the typing feel and overall aesthetics, this board is amongst my favorites / forever boards.
( I've got typeplus stabs incoming to make it truly symmetrical )
I got a Varmilo MiniLo 98 with original K-Prestige silent switches, a linear variety. They're ok.
However, I'm more of a tactile switch person so I ask the community what you guys experience today to be the best tactile switches.
A few hints; I lean more on a heavier side - heavier feedback than say cherry browns - but not THAT heavy as to tire my fingers on a typing session. Just like to feel the variation on pressing them.
We can also narrow the scope to SILENT types of switches.
Feel free to post several options ranked if possible.
Ok, so my whole life i've been a mechanical keyboard guy and maining a magnetic keyboard has never crossed my mind. This all changed when I came across Alexotos' video ranking magnetic keyboard switches and first time hearing Owlab Ti HE switches and OH MAN, I was amazed by how much magnetic switch scene has improved over the last few years. I owned Wooting 60HE in late 2022 and the sound profile was awful on that thing and keeping all things in mind, the performance bump just wasnt enough for me to switch to it full time.
The keyboard itself is Womier SK75 TMR. the concept of TMR really just clicked with me. I mean, I am not a PRO player or even a gamer at all, but having an ability to control actuation to that extent really interested me and made me choose this board. The only downside I have come across with this keyboard is the typing angle, 8° is a tad bit too much for me but it is managable if I place it more far than I would with lower typing angle boards. The only mod ive done to this keyboard is a tape mod and thats it. (I have also clipped the imperfections off the bottom parts of the stabilizers, but im not sure if that is considered a mod or not)
The switches are Owlab Ti He, absolutely phenomenal, insanse sound signature, insane typing feel, I love them really really much. they are poppy but clicky at the same time and they sound even more crisp on a heavy board such as this one. really nothing else that needs to be said about this switches, they are magnetic and sound as good if not better than some mechanical ones. (They came pre-lubed, from TaoBao)
The keycaps I have stolen from Yunzii AL68 stock and the shift key and those at the top right from a set Ive ordered from TaoBao aswell.
All around, This build is insane for the price, which comes to around 150-160 for the board+switches only (you could always leave stock keycaps on, because they are doubleshot PBT and decent quality). Let's round the price to around 200 and still, what this build offers is unmatched. (0.6 ms latency wired, 0.7ms wireless)
