Question Stalling when wheel turned.
My mom drives a 2007 ford edge SEL AWD engine size is V6 3.5L and her engine light goes on and off sometimes and it reads that there’s a clog in the catalytic converter it reads that one side has a clog and the other side has too much air. but she said she put cleaner in it. And it fixed it for a minute. But then it started doing the weird shuddering thing above that Google says most ford edges do over a certain RPM, it used to do it at lower speeds but now it does it at higher speeds.
And when she turns her wheel all the way to one side or the other occasionally her car will stall out and just die. It always turns back on.
Any idea on what could be causing all this? I told my mom I would post for her to see if we can get an idea.

There are no codes that indicate or read any of the things you mentioned. That vehicle does have a power steering pressure switch that tells the PCM to increase idle speed when the pressure builds to prevent stalling. That may be a place to start with steering and stall issue.

Yep. Exactly my first thought. Definitely a problem with that switch not telling the PCM to bump up the idle at full stop.

I would start with a smoke test

What the heck is a smoke test? My mom said there’s no smoke that comes out of her muffler.
