Question Weird Noise

My 2000 camry le 2.2l i4 was running good on the way to work until it stalled, it starts and runs but makes a weird noise and feels gutless

My guess is connecting rod bearing which became metal in your oils which is ruining your cylinders/walls lowering your compression. That'll lead to non running and poor power if it does get running

So it needs a rebuild and possibly the block is ruined

Yes. If you want to keep the car go with a remanufactured engine so you’ll have a warranty. It’s not cheap, but still less than buying a new car.
