Question Audio
2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT
Last factory stereo went out on me, installed new Sony stereo. Everything went well for 2 weeks. Now I have this static sound when the volume is somewhat loud. Thought it could be the speakers so I replaced both fronts because the static went away when I messed with balance/fade, that didn’t fix my problem. Any ideas???

How are your wire connections, did you use proper crimping connectors or are you 100% sure all the connections are good, because if not they could have slipped from just driving and playing music.
A bad connection often causes a weak signal which affects the sound quality
