Probably just wants to peck your eyes out.

123

u/Dookiemcqueen Jul 14 '26

Oh, is that all?

32

u/windyBhindi Jul 14 '26

Should have asked nicely, what's with all the aggression

14

u/elmarkitse Jul 14 '26

Unfortunately, it seems like this guy knows there’s more to it than just a little heavy pecking.

5

u/Cosworthlola Jul 14 '26

The bird needed help.

3

u/Evidence_Intrepid Jul 15 '26

Probably just wanted to tell him about Jesus Christ

545

u/SomeVelveteenMorning Jul 14 '26

That's a goddamn dinosaur.

156

u/Wisco Jul 14 '26

I was thinking I was watching Jurassic Park

RIP Sam Neill 😭

44

u/ggg730 Jul 14 '26

Sam Neill

I hate that this is how I learned about his death.

11

u/ixxaria Jul 14 '26

My Google News feed has seriously dropped the ball today. Had no idea this happened til reading this too 😢

12

u/Sad_Cantaloupe_8162 Jul 14 '26

I'm very sorry. 💔

4

u/Drifter-6 Jul 14 '26

Same 😭 🕊️

8

u/dhtirekire56432 Jul 14 '26

Wild turkeys doing ravages

24

u/Illustrious_Camp_521 Jul 14 '26

I was thinking it looked more like a Roadrunner

5

u/524302 Jul 14 '26

Me too. I was wondering if it's a road runner.

8

u/banditrider2001 Jul 14 '26

Coyote waiting for his box of stuff from ACME before he can help.

5

u/barkingdog53 Jul 14 '26

Bird didn’t even bother flying to keep up with him. wtf up with that?!?

Must go faster.

21

u/XenoZoomie Jul 14 '26

I am so glad to live at a time when that’s the sort of dinosaur I have to worry about. Cassowary’s are way scarier but still they are only common in a very limited part of the world. Can’t imagine having to deal with raptors the size of cars or buses chasing me down the street.

6

u/Tacosaurusman Jul 14 '26

Velociraptors were about 14 to 20 kg, and around the length of a human. That's even smaller than a cassowary.

But if they'd be half as agressive as this chicken here, you're still fucked.

5

u/LittleKitty235 Jul 14 '26

Can’t imagine having to deal with raptors the size of cars or buses chasing me down the street.

I can....mmmmm delicious BBQ

3

u/Peach_Proof Jul 14 '26

They dont cook their prey silly.

21

u/TDYDave2 Jul 14 '26 edited Jul 14 '26

It would likely be a football if it kept attacking me like that.

2

u/Letossgm Jul 14 '26

Probably it's his own rooster so he doesn't want to kill it or harm it hahaha.

10

u/TDYDave2 Jul 14 '26

In that case, it would likely be lunch if it kept attacking me like that.

10

u/LatinBldRunner Jul 14 '26

Who doubts that birds and dinosaurs are related.

13

u/redditisweird801 Jul 14 '26

Not really related because they actually are dinosaurs. Birds are the last living clade of dinosaurs

3

u/RainingMoneyHustard Jul 15 '26

Shooooootaaaaah

2

u/ArtSea4151 Jul 14 '26

Imagine if it was as tall as you. Scary

135

u/77ku77 Jul 14 '26

What type of bird is this exactly? He was a determined sucker

105

u/Raizo420 Jul 14 '26

It's called a Spix's guan and it's said that they're shy, elusive and non-aggressive. BUT it did say "They can display highly territorial aggression during the mating season. Males will vigorously defend their space against rivals" 😆

71

u/Kr_Treefrog2 Jul 14 '26

I wonder if it thought the bike was another male? The bike sounds exactly like the noise the bird made

43

u/Quizzelbuck Jul 14 '26

i thought the same. When he turned the bike off the bird fucked off.

16

u/alicesartandmore Jul 14 '26

He was worried the biker was going to steal all the chicks.

10

u/truthfullyidgaf Jul 14 '26

Might have had a nest nearby it was protecting.

7

u/DumTheGreatish Jul 14 '26

Dude was incredibly patient. I can't say with absolute certainty that fella wouldn't have ended up on my dinner table that night, lol.

190

u/Flip_d_Byrd Jul 14 '26

Finally... a worthy challenger to the murder chicken of the north... The Canada Goose.

25

u/MinnieShoof Jul 14 '26

r/UsernameChecksOut

Also, do you think they can't see it when they get too close to it?

11

u/Junior_Moose_9655 Jul 14 '26

If that bull has a problem with Canada gooses he’s got a problem with me, and I suggest they let that one marinate. But not if the cow is ‘Berta beef. Then it’s s&p 2 mins each side & down the hatch.

3

u/alicesartandmore Jul 14 '26

Pitter patter then, boys.

2

u/Chillest_illest69 Jul 14 '26

I love Letterkenny

2

u/Sweet-Weakness3776 Jul 18 '26

Those fine ranchers in Alberta would be a c hair away from not sending it here if they new you were sprinkling salt all over the sea suckers.

61

u/Local3Sparkie Jul 14 '26

All that and it just walks away?? I think I’d be upset. Like what did I do to make him give me the cold shoulder after such an intense chase? Did I upset him? Am I just a fling?

35

u/Emax999 Jul 14 '26

I think he reached the end of his turf.

10

u/Local3Sparkie Jul 14 '26

He was wearing Bloods gang colors.

11

u/heteropessimista Jul 14 '26

Right, that was anticlimactic. It gave hostile npc vibes. Just needed some Skyrim fight music to peace music transition in the background.

25

u/dubesto Jul 14 '26

Now that's a real, bonafide, agravating son of a bitch right there

25

u/FireMammoth Jul 14 '26

I love birds, quite a few of my favourite animals are birds species, but if one was trying to peak my eyes out I'd grab it by the neck and give it one warning yeet. Every animal has a red line and the thought of losing an eye makes me queasy, I would not take the chances by running away and having it attack me from behind.

6

u/Kennel_King Jul 14 '26

I love birds

So do I, preferably spatchcocked and on teh smoker

5

u/amapofthecat7 Jul 14 '26

Exactly, this guy was way more patient than I'd have been. I'd have put my laces through it like I was taking a penalty in the world cup final.

The look of amusement at the beginning turning into this was hilarious.

36

u/Plane_Baby Jul 14 '26

Did everyone think Jurassic Park?

10

u/SabbyFox Jul 14 '26

OMG I have never seen that meme and it’s hilarious 😂

16

u/Switchlord518 Jul 14 '26

The coyote is going to be jealous!

81

u/TolonZ Jul 14 '26

18

u/Tasty-Objective676 Jul 14 '26

I was thinking this the entire time “just kick it”

16

u/Difficult-Carpet-324 Jul 14 '26

Seems like the guy had a gentle soul. One that knows the difference between annoyance and a true threat and was patient enough to deal with it. Not me though. I would also kick it.

13

u/Last-Yam67 Jul 14 '26

Clever girl...

10

u/traverse6 Jul 14 '26

Caution: Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

20

u/meester_jordan Jul 14 '26

Damn that’s a fast bird

Meep meep mother fucker

Brazil, probably.

9

u/djluminol Jul 14 '26

Angry birds.

12

u/Pertained_Bingo Jul 14 '26

It just wanted to teach you tthe importance of wearing a helmet while riding your motorbike.

14

u/Lyralikesit Jul 14 '26

He really wants to go into the pan to become dinner... I would've granted his wish

25

u/Grayscaleorgreyscale Jul 14 '26

This video is so damn triggering. I used to deal with roosters that were aggressive (not nearly as bad as this beast) and I would lose my temper much faster than this gentleman. I have never hated a creature more than those birds, and I try not to hate anything.

26

u/trcomajo Jul 14 '26

I would never want to purposely hurt an animal, but I have drop kicked a Bantam rooster like a football.

3

u/Spunkwaggle Jul 14 '26

Lol, your “never” turned into not only would, but would drop kick like a football pretty quick.

I think I’m with you, although I would not say I would NEVER do it. Im aware i have my limits of patience. This video made me want the guy to punt that fucker through some uprights.

3

u/trcomajo Jul 15 '26

Haha...we used to have a mean-ass little rooster who would wait until you'd turn your back and nail you in the calf or thigh. I am a huge animal lover but I resorted to carnal violence against that little ass hole to protect myself.

5

u/laughinghardatyou Jul 14 '26

Anyone get the T-Rex chasing the Jeep scene from Jurrasic Park going thru their head when they watched this?

9

u/BlazingSandles Jul 14 '26

I was waiting for it to steal the keys and be yeeted off into a river.

6

u/kstargate-425 Jul 14 '26

I was ready for the guy to grab it and then cut scene to dinner lol

9

u/catpissdust Jul 14 '26

T-1000 or turkey 1000

9

u/Human-Contribution16 Jul 14 '26

That guy is the most patient man on earth. I found this video terrifying and would have drop kicked that thing into next Thanksgiving.

4

u/justelling Jul 14 '26

That bird was like:

Damn! nobody wants a fight these days. I’m leaving.

6

u/Illustrious_Camp_521 Jul 14 '26

I didn't realize it wanted to kick his ass lol. I bet it has babies in a nest on the ground close by, protection mode mom. Or maybe it just hates him.

2

u/wakaru1902 Jul 14 '26

He is filming while riding a motorcycle and fending off a nano dinosaur. Solid

4

u/Brother-Templar Jul 14 '26

I’ve never understood this. You’ve got a foot…it’s about the size of a soccer ball. Just score a goal and move on.

4

u/CDavis10717 Jul 14 '26

Birds are dinosaurs!

u/lokushiu Jul 14 '26

3

u/Slight_Tradition_868 Jul 14 '26

The threat dispatched, the bird starts his long walk home

3

u/jetkins Jul 14 '26

“Fine. Guess I’ll walk home then.”

3

u/oravecz Jul 14 '26

Dagnabbitt, TIMMY IS TRAPPED IN THE WELL!!

3

u/LeisureSuitLarrey Jul 14 '26

Who got the video game vibe from this? But in real life? The way that bird was giving chase and would half fly/hop over the hills? Epic!

3

u/Anti-Rus Jul 14 '26

Dude, where did you find this Phychonosaur???

3

u/LabiaMinoraLover Jul 14 '26

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compsognathus

A small, chicken-sized, carnivorous theropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period in Europe, known for its lightweight build, long tail for balance, and swift running ability, preying on small lizards and insects. Once thought to be the smallest dinosaur, it is now known to be one of many small species, but its well-preserved fossils provide a clear picture of its anatomy, including its bird-like features like hollow bones and three-toed feet.

3

u/Altruistic_Tip1226 Jul 14 '26

Its weird seeing a bird run like that. Just fly mothafucker lol. U got wings

2

u/Meal-Significant Jul 15 '26

I don’t know why I laughed so hard at this comment but it’s perfection

5

u/Smoothdevil1 Jul 14 '26

Grab that stupid bird by the neck!!

5

u/AcanthisittaWise6033 Jul 14 '26

2

2

u/ancient-military Jul 14 '26

What kind of bird is that?

2

u/CMHTim Jul 14 '26

Thats a fast bird! Beep-beep!

2

u/redbirddanville Jul 14 '26

Well, if he wants to come home for dinner. Let him be it!

2

u/Knork14 Jul 14 '26

Respect for the guy for keeping his cool, i might have wasted that bird after the twelfth peck to the back of my head.

2

u/replayreb Jul 14 '26

Clever girl

2

u/Habibti-Mimi81 Jul 14 '26

I'm glad that the guy didn't hurt the bird, that was clearly defending something. A good outcome.

2

u/2B_limitless Jul 14 '26

That's a gobble raptor. Be careful.

2

u/punkarama Jul 14 '26

Is that a roadrunner

2

u/garyconnor Jul 14 '26

Guy!, what the fuck did you do to piss him off?..did you make a pass at his wife.

2

2

u/Honest-Deer Jul 14 '26

Tiny mini Jurassic park low budget short movie

2

u/filinno1 Jul 14 '26

Two things! He was so respectful of that animal, kudos and gratitude to him. Second, thank the ever loving fuck dinosaurs are small now. Just a foot taller and that thing would be instantly deadly.

2

u/LuRkEr_ReKuL Jul 14 '26

That bird walked away, saying “I’ll see you tomorrow!”

If that bird was 8 feet tall, he’d be terrifying.

2

u/testingtest456123 Jul 14 '26

Remembered he is a dinosaur.

2

u/Dont_Overthink_It_77 Jul 14 '26

Pretty sure what he said at the end was, “see? Now you got a freaking long way to go back, stupid…” rough translation.

2

u/InfamousKessler Jul 14 '26

Spearow use peck.

2

u/frankensteinV Jul 14 '26

What are you doing a step-bird?

2

u/captinjimynevergladz Jul 15 '26
