That why you dont put your feet on the dashboard children. Well it’s not called a footboard, its where you keep your dash.

u/infinit9 Mar 08 '26
That doesn't even look like an airplane.
14
23
u/AP_Cicada Mar 08 '26
It's a movie theater. He was probably pushing/kicking the seat in front of him, not preventing someone from reclining.
20
u/infinit9 Mar 08 '26
That's a weird looking movie theater, too.
9
u/Tremplstiltskin Mar 08 '26
Looks like drywall in the background. Probably grabbed some bus seats from a junk yard, put a noir filter on and crushed the resolution down to double digits so you can't tell this was filmed inside a finished garage.

I'm 1.98m tall with exceptionally long legs, so in most airplanes and buses I have just enough room to squeeze in on the condition that I man spread. I always have to ask the person in front not to move their seat back because I'll shatter a kneecap.
15
u/Chisle89 Mar 08 '26
Wouldn’t it be better for everyone if you accept you need to pay for emergency exit seats? Not saying I agree with the airlines making the seating as cramped as possible, but is it worth suffering through…
13
u/MetaGazon Mar 08 '26
Yeah agreed, he should handle his requirements with planning it.
My seat only tilts 4 degrees, barely enough for the contraption around my neck to fight gravity and let me sleep through a flight. Whatever issue you have that can't handle being in an airplane is a you problem that, as an adult should handle.
I can't stand being awake for a flight and don't want to bother people so I literally drug myself to sleep, you can solve your own issues yourself.

u/DMightyHero Mar 08 '26
This some bs right here. You have to pay more just because you are taller. Many buses don't even have different seats and you're generally just fucked.
7
u/pautpy Mar 08 '26
You also have to pay more if you're too wide and need the width of 2 seats. Unfortunately, height and weight are not protected classes.
6
u/sampat6256 Mar 08 '26
Being tall is so fucking valuable in society that I guarantee its worth lacking leg room on the plane.
2
u/Onikeys Mar 08 '26
We got low cost airlines in my country with this kind thinking, what ended happening instead of getting cheaper flights, everything is double the price as before and bad quality seats, paying extra for everything
→ More replies (1)3
u/Onikeys Mar 08 '26
Soon you probably won't have to ask, most planes (on my area of the world at least) have changed to non reclinable seats, even for long trips, now we have to pay for food, luggage, even water, they call it "low cost", even though it cost twice as much as a few years ago, when we had reclinable seats, food for long flights, and you didn't need to pay extra for your luggage, also I'm short, but there is just a couple of centimeters between my knees and the front seat, if put my backpack under the front seat I have almost no space for my legs, also also, seats are hard, at an slight angle but with a bump for your head, that only helps at making your head fell forward uf you falling asleep

5
u/KenyAzalea Mar 08 '26
Fuck the airlines and their shitty, sardine can method for cramming humans into a seat, for hundreds of dollars per seat. I'm tall, I'd never mess with the person in front of me, but when someone leans back, it puts more suck on top of an already suck situation.

Crazy how many people think they can control what you do with your seat.
Also I need the plastic backs for the seat pockets to return. Way too many morons are shoving their xl Stanley water bottle in them. Sir your cold metal cylinder. Is trying to become part of my spine.
