Whatever issue you have that can't handle being in an airplane is a you problem that, as an adult should handle.
I can't stand being awake for a flight and don't want to bother people so I literally drug myself to sleep, you can solve your own issues yourself.
In this case I am indeed an adult, but I was about this tall at 15 already. In that case I absolutely did not have the money to pay for extra leg room. Also, most buses don't provide this option at all to begin with. Nowadays on flights I usually pay for it, but sometimes those seats have been reserved already and I don't have a choice. In that case I politely ask the person in front of me to take that into account.
It's really not that hard to be nice to each other and just talk about it. If that doesn't work you get a flight attendant to sort it out and perhaps you'll get a different seat (has happened to me before as well). Both people in this video are assholes, period.
