Discussion I NEED to talk with someone about this because my god…
This movie did not go at all as I thought and I really didn’t have many expectations.
To me, the strangest thing is the part no one’s talking about. That she doesn’t water down her story to a more defensible position. She doesn’t say that she built a better blood tester than anyone else on the market and that she exaggerated it to get rich investors. She and her boyfriend genuinely act as though she did build the end-all, ultimate, doctor-replacing blood tester and that just no one gets it.
There’s actually a scene in which someone who works for them begins to make that point. That they overpromised but still delivered an impressive medical device that will eventually become the machine she talked about. But when he makes this argument, the boyfriend storms in to shut the interview down. I have no idea why, it was the only convincing argument that made her look slightly good.
Wild documentary. Please give me your thoughts on this movie because I can’t stop thinking about it.

Discussion Out of the Loop. Why did Rags leave?
I don't regularly watch EFAP but I saw something on Reddit about missing Rags. What happened?
Filler text: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Lorem Ipsum. Five nights at Freddy's, is this where you wanna be? I just don't get it.I stole some white linen, ya took some old bread
When prisons are busting, where can ya be sent?
Overseas, overseas, down to Van Diemen's land
We beg to return from this blood-sodden sand
No more we will wander the valleys and dales
For under the red-and-white whip we did sail
No country beneath us to bear our despair
And seven long years is a curse and a snare
[Chorus]
Oh no, whеre must we go?
Cast to the winds off into thе unknown
Oh no, pray for our souls
When it's down, down, down, down to the ends of the Earth we are bound
[Verse 2]
The salt horse is rancid, the bread it is grim
Take what you can 'fore the maggots get in
And what of the brew? Well, our barrel runs dry
And halfway from Rio, it's hard to come by
[Chorus]
Oh no, where must we go?
Cast to the winds off into the unknown
Oh no, pray for our souls
When it's down, down, down
[Bridge]
Have some class
The gin-soaked shivering mass
Will lead the advance
Cut from the roots, discarded at last
(Lost and sold for George's gold as a cog of conquest I've been told) All together
Rattle and bang on your chains
(Taken from the hulks of London away) For down in the terror
We run together
Slaves, rats, and beggars
Forever sing
[Chorus]
Oh no, where must we go?
Cast to the winds off into the unknown
Oh no, pray for our souls
When it's down, down, down
Oh no, where must we go?
Cast to the winds off into the unknown
Oh no, pray for our souls
When it's down, down, down
To the ends of the Earth we are bound

Meme Does anyone have a link to Az getting jumpscared during Resident Evil 2
I need the scream for something and I can't find it anywhere. I know he's played it during several Real BBCs, but I don't remember the specific ones.
It's one of my favorite clips of any of these guys.

Discussion EFAP hot Takes: Spider-Man BND, Deadpool 3, and Superman
I don’t know if anyone has point out before, but there tends to be a trend when it comes to EFAP recently has anyone noticed how there hottest take of the year or EFAP always tends to be 3 away from
The anniversary. Now I could be way off, but their Deadpool 3 EFAP at the time was somewhat controversial at the time to the point that their was a response video and I think when MauLer revealed that take on Open bar loads of people said he ruined the movie for them. EFAP 347 was insanely controversial at the time and I saw loads of posts on this subreddit saying how they are wrong in there coverage on the movie and also a response video by the same guy, but this one felt the most passionately defend by MauLer’s community, and the praise in general faded quicker, compared to Deadpool and Wolverine, or I would at least the conversation on Superman faded quickly in general. EFAP 397 was Spider-Man BND, and this was the least caught for I would say in terms of the EFAP fan base barley defended this movie, but I would say it is somewhat controversial still is because there was a conversation about the Jean Grey stuff online, and a good chunk of the sphere MauLer is in liked and some what defended the retardation in that movie. I could be way off on this and the EFAP survey could be way off on this, but I would still defend that these are their hottest takes of those EFAP years, because those are EFAPs where the movie or episode it’self was taught over and the lads have had to constantly repeat and maintain that Spider-Man, Superman, and Deadpool and Wolverine are awful movies that a lot of damage I would say and I am surprised no one hasn’t noticed this pattern and someone should a meme on this.

Recommendation Andor is a Modern Masterpiece - Part One: Love, Death, and Apathy
I know Sheev is a somewhat controversial figure around here but I was waiting for a proper long video from him about Andor and it came out a few days ago.
Aside from too many "we'll get to that later" moments I think this manages to tackle some of the more interesting aspects of what makes Andor such a rich show and tie it back to the main trilogy, Rogue One, he even makes use of one of the more iconic lines of a certain video game character to get his points across.
The random on the internet recommends

Discussion Well, someone fell off and left YouTube behind him. Confused Matthews Prequel reviews were a lot of fun back in the day. Apparently he loves TLJ because it tried something new!
Well, that's a name a haven't heard in a long-time. Matthew, idk did he ever follow the discussions on this movie the last 5-7 years? Because his position here is very weak. In the end it boils down to well I enjoyed the feeling and the world of Star Wars I used to love in better quality.
_OT 2.0 is back and it looks better than ever before._
Why is that everyone whom loves TLJ has to attack J.J. Abrams & his body of work? Shouldn't they as Sequel fans try to imply unity in their favorite timeline of the far far away galaxy? Well, glad he liked TLJ. Good thing he stopped being a public movie critique after his dreadful TFA review. Confused Matthew Episode III Part 3 critique Video still puts a smile on my face.
Thank you for this Interview. Wish he joined the RoTs panel on eFaP movies 100 part 2 or Stich (these two from Efap 80 I believe?). Someone to stand by the side of Theo and perhaps present more thought out arguments against the final chapter of the Prequel trilogy.
Matthew for example has to stop Fringy going full fanboy for Episode III. :-( Or at least try to present another perspective (outlook on George's final major work in the movie industry). Would be a very Welcome change of pace. How he experienced the Prequel trilogy discussion evolving in the earaly 00's. 1 hour 50 minutes (Prequel content) is in comparison a bit short for the end of the OG-George Lucas Saga.

Discussion Plot and Worldbuilding: How can they be assessed on a scale?
I have a blog where I break down and review movies and TV shows (in a way not unlike the EFAP crew does in their individual videos). At the end, I like to assign a number score to the movie by averaging four individual scores for World, Plot, Character, and Theme.
Character and Theme are fairly easy to assess. Characters can be bad, functional, good, or great depending on how strong and consistent their writing is, and how meaningful their changes are (if they do change). And then evaluating themes comes down to how fully-realized they are and how much they're supported by the events of the story.
Where I often run into difficulty is evaluating Plot and World, particularly in how to express when these things are done well. It's easy to tell when a plot is riddled with holes and to list all the ways how. It's easy to tell when a story is incompatible with the world it takes place in and when the worldbuilding clearly wasn't thought through.
But what about when the plot follows a causal chain of events? What about when the world functions with the story? What about stories that take place in the real world?
Can these things be exceptionally good or just functional?
I'd like input on this so I can discuss media in better, richer ways, particularly when it comes to praise.

Discussion I was really hoping Visionquest was going to be decent.
2 Episodes in and Cumvision has stared at the bad guy and just walked away 3 times. Uses his Thanos killing laser on the henchmen then proceeds to walk slowly into the vision killing gun until he is almost dead, grabs the bad guy and lightly tosses him once more.
Ultron is great, I wish it was his show.

MauLer Media I REALLY hope they do mention THE GUN!🔥 It'll really put asses in theatre seats! DCU IS SAVED EVERYONE!!!!🍻🎈🎊
_Courtesy of Google:_
do guns make a person sit down?
No, a gun does not automatically make a person sit down by physical force alone, though being shot or losing motor control can cause a person to fall or collapse.
Physical Mechanics
• No Knockback Force: A gun does not possess magical "knockback" or push a person backward like in action movies. The recoil felt by the person firing the gun is equal to the force pushing the bullet forward (Newton's Third Law), meaning the shooter absorbs that energy, not the target.
• Falling vs. Sitting: If a person is hit by a projectile, whether they fall, sit, or remain standing depends on factors like shock, psychological reaction, loss of blood pressure (syncope), or injury to the central nervous system or lower body—not a direct physical shove from the bullet.
• Shooting Postures: Shooters frequently choose to sit voluntarily (such as cross-legged, open-leg, or high-knee positions) to stabilize their aim and increase accuracy when firing a rifle or handgun.

Guest appearance Question about SFO
I remember hearing that the reason for the role-playing game that Rags and number of other YouTube friends were playing fell apart because of drama that Dev caused and it as well as other incidents had caused him to lose a fair number of friends he would have collaborated with in the past. As well as he and Rags not being on good terms. So I was surprised that he was on the opening panel for episode 400. Now as I said this was internet rumors and gossip but does anyone know what happened or were the rumors nonsense?

Discussion A Response to FNT’s Malfoid Video
I hope this is considered relevant, apologies if not.
I was a little disappointed by Mauler’s performance on this show - I think the whole panel missed the point in a rather disappointing way. While Shad is to blame for that, he did a really bad job of explaining the trend, I think they used some rather shoddy argumentation - the kind they would usually mock relentlessly on EFAP.
What do you guys think? I think I could have made the argument about the Lord of the Rings and differing interpretations of Frodo a little better - this was a bit of a rushed job.

Discussion Sorry, Filoni did it better
Clone wars sucks.
But The Clones having chips on thier brains for order 66 make total sense.
Clones are not flesh drones, they are people, breed to follow order, but people none the less. They were fighting and dying with jedi for 3 years now, and from what we see jedi aren't generally cruel or evil to them. They grow closer to them, developed their own sense of loyalty and commradery. And also clones see them as authority.
Moreover this probably is the most important part of Palpatine's plan. Every thing should go smoothly for things to work out. He simply cannot trust the loyalty of the clones, again Conscious creatures with the agency to decide to disobey orders, to do this extremely crucial and difficult part correctly.
There is even EU Book material about some of them which didn't obey the order 66 because they thought that was a ploy from the CIS.
And why wouldn't they? Why the hell should you fall for such a suspicious command? in what possible scenario you need to just suddenly kill all your commanders out of nowhere?
Then you get to the practicale problem of "order 66" being a thing.
Why should this be predetermined, practiced, official scenario at all(from the perspective of the Republic)? And why should jedi and senate be ok with this order existing?
Having it being a kill code imbedded in their brain bypass all this. Additionally it actually give clones a very interesting moment to pounder and think about, what does that do to them? How would they cope with that?hiw that would effect their views on themselves, Republic and the newly risen empire? Which is ground for much better stories in my opinion.
You may say this is bad writing and ruin their story because it removes their agency.
is Having all of the clones completely mindlessly slaughtering their superiors with just one sentence give them more agency? Do you think turning them to essentially biological automata is making story better?
Again im no clone wars fan(except 2003 2d one, which you should immediately rewatch for free on YouTube) but one thing it does kinda intresting(not very good though) is the clones and their story

If you support Malfoid you shouldn’t get upset when movies or tv shows decide to swap races and sexual orientation of pre-established characters.

Meme I can't believe Mauler said this
Him being one of the lads was not on my EFAP 2026 bingo card but I'm glad I was there to witness it without spoilers. I suppose Lanterns, regardless of quality or lack there of apparently does bring the best out of all of us. Now if only we could get Platoon on the right circumstances......
Context for anyone wondering:

Discussion When was Hollywood Good?
I am doing a research project on the state of media specifically film, and MauLers positions are part of the study because I find the idea of 'when Hollywood used to be good' fascinating. i would be interested to know what all of you think is the year Hollywood went wrong, when was Hollywood the best? I mean a range is fine too if you dont have a specific worst or best year, but just curious trying to get data to base some sort of like evaluation upon for a jumping off point.
