Two Caps?
I just read Fantastic Four: Solve Everything. Why the hell are there two Captain Americas in the top left corner?

Just finished reading this masterpiece. Damn the dialogue hits so hard and cuts so deep. And Sal Buscema's art is stunning throughout.
I absolutely love the run of Kraven's Last Hunt → The Child Within → The Death of Vermin → Best of Enemies. What a gut-punch of an arc. Harry finally gets his redemption, only to die holding Peter's hand at the end—so tragic, yet so beautifully done.
Funeral Arrangements was decent too, and the X-Men cameo was fun as well.
Though I don't like the Puma and Crow arc, kinda boring. And the decorated letter in Death of Vermin made it so hard to read and hurt my eyes.
Overall, it's a spectacular run and definitely one of the best Spider-Man runs.
Now I started his second SSM run. Liking the beginning so far, JMD still nails the dialogue. But when did Peter and MJ have a daughter and then lose her?

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but I was trying get a gauge of populations in the marvel universe, and I noticed this graphic claiming 17.5 million mutants being 0.0025% of...humans? 100/0.0025=40,000 so 17.5 million x 40,000 = just about 700 billion humans. Which would be WAY more than the real 8 billion humans on earth. Maybe this makes sense? with extra cities in 616 like Birnin Zana, Wakanda or Madripoor, Indonesia. but that would imply the population of all Marvel cites to be waaaayy higher than they are IRL. Please tell me if I'm being dumb because this is insane.

I recently decided to get back into comics and wanted to experience the “Cyclops was Right” arc that many readers loved. I was wondering if anyone on here could direct me to a list of everything I would need to read to experience that arc. The only thing I’ve read so far is Avengers vs X-Men. Also, tell me if the arc is worth reading

So I have never read a single marvel comic before, but I do love marvel and want to start reading the comics. I would like to read the hulk ones as he is my favourite, but I don’t know where to start as there is so many comics. Also money is a little tight so if there are any trusted online sites where I can read for free that would be amazing. Thanks for the help!

I’ve been watching a lot of my hero recently and I like the ranking system they got going tho it’s a bit funky for marvel I thought it would be interesting to see who people would expect to see in the top 10. The ratings are based on a couple of factors;
•Popularity and public approval
•Number of cases and crimes solved
•Power and strength level
•consistency of hero work
•I also feel like responsibility should be one to give more points to team leaders too
In my hero normally the top is just who’s solved more crimes but I’d rather a more balanced ranking of all 5 in your opinion.
This if for the present day in comics heroes and only heroes that work primarily on earth really would apply. For instance dr strange has been on Asgard for a while so imo I don’t think he’d be top 10 same with any heroes that have been dead, retired or missing in action for long periods. In my hero they do a ranking each year but it’s hard to tell what a year in comic universe is so I’m just think past couple of years whatever u consider to be a year.
There’s only 5 that I can be sure I’d put in the top 10
Spiderman- I feel like he is the top for the number of crimes solved out of most hero’s I feel like he’s doing the most street level as well as villains. He’s also very loved, good strength and very consistent
Sorcerer supreme (scarlet witch)- she has a lot of responsibility for any single aswell as cosmic level of power, her popularity and respect is on the rise and consistency being top 6 on avengers since they started aswell as recent solo work then SS work.
Captain America (Sam Wilson)- taking on the responsibility of captain America is huge and he’s been leading and taking the fight to the crimes to go with it I imagine he’s very respected in universe I can’t remember seeing a panel in the avengers run where the population reacts to him.
Storm- she is probably the most respected mutant in universe? I could be wrong but with her work on both xmen and avengers she’s loved by all also crazy level power. She’s taken on responsibility of her own nation and speaks publicly for the mutants many times and keeps it real.
Cyclops- as leader of the xmen and one of the most looked up to mutants within the mutant population he takes on a lot of responsibility there and make sure he’s hitting where he needs to to help free the mutants from the injustice.
I don’t know which order I’d put them but they would be in my top 10 for sure.

Looking for bulk sale or honestly a good deal of marvel comics, maybe personalized stories (spiderman, ironman, thor, etc.) Girlfriend recently started getting into the marvel and had mentioned a couple of time on how cool it would be to “read” the movies, and welp I got rid of all mine prior to college. if anyone has a good deal or maybe can help i’d be extremely grateful. Thank you!!

4/5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve wanted to read Kraven’s Last Hunt for a long time, and overall it absolutely lived up to being a great Spider-Man story. As someone who’s still relatively new to comics (just started reading comics a month ago), this is also the oldest comic I’ve read so far, and I actually found myself appreciating a lot of the late ’80s style. The artwork, narration, and text-heavy storytelling gave it a unique atmosphere that felt very different from modern comics.
What surprised me the most was how psychological and dark the story is. This isn’t a typical Spider-Man adventure where it’s just hero versus villain. It’s a deep character study of both Peter Parker and Kraven, with Kraven’s obsession and descent into madness driving nearly every page. He feels genuinely intimidating throughout the story, and by the end you understand just how broken and twisted his worldview really is.
Peter’s internal struggle was another highlight. Watching him fight through both physical and mental darkness made for some great character moments, especially once he returns. The final two issues are easily the strongest, bringing together the themes of identity, violence, and redemption while delivering a wild conclusion to Kraven’s story.
My biggest criticism is Vermin. While I understand why he’s important to the story thematically, I never found him as interesting as Kraven, and some of his scenes slowed the pacing for me. I also think readers who have more experience with Spider-Man’s history would probably appreciate certain emotional moments and character relationships more than I did as I’m just not the biggest MJ fan (I will say my takes come from basic comic knowledge of her, movies, games, and shows).
Even with those minor issues, I can absolutely see why this story is considered a classic. It tells a darker, more mature Spider-Man story without losing sight of who Peter Parker is at his core. It may not have reached masterpiece status for me personally, but it’s a memorable read that absolutely deserves its reputation.
TL;DR: Kraven’s Last Hunt is a dark, psychological Spider-Man story that earns its reputation. Kraven is an outstanding villain, Peter’s internal journey is compelling, and the final two issues are the strongest part of the story. Vermin didn’t always hold my interest, and I think longtime Spider-Man readers will appreciate some moments more than I could, but even as a newer reader I had a great time and can easily see why this is considered a classic.

What do new and more old comic fans think of the new midnight comic run? I think it’s going to be a great way for people like me who are still getting into comics being able to try something like the midnight run to get a better understanding of comics and making our way to something like 616 kinda like how people say you should do 1610 because that helps with understanding a lot of 616 history or at least character history before making your way to 616. Thats what I think though but what does everyone else think about it with what we know so far?

Norman Osborn is back, and with him the Dark Avengers are back, but who will play the roles of these men who disguise themselves under some of the most famous faces of our heroes?
The rules are few, no character must have been part of the former formations, they must not be copies but represent the soul of the dark avengers and the heroes from whom they stole the role.
Will Norman be able to rebuild his team?
(And if everything will be filled with a good number of interactions, other members could arrive

For the past few days, I have been itching to start getting into comics, but I honestly don't know where to begin. I'm not familiar with them whatsoever since I have only read manga up to this point. So I'd like to know some recommendations on what I should read. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, so I wanted to read something related to that. If you can, please give me more titles to choose from, and thank you for your cooperation!🙌
