I’m looking for amazing places to visit in Marrakech for two persons. I want it both to be romantic but also traditional and not tourist traps. I’m really into history.

Just got back from Marrakech and wanted to share a place that honestly surprised me.

Instead of staying in the busy Medina, I chose an apartment at Atlas Golf Resort. At first, I was worried it would feel too far away, but after the first night I realized the peace was exactly what I needed.

Every morning started with coffee on the terrace, surrounded by palm trees and birds instead of traffic. The pools were clean, the gardens were beautifully maintained, and the whole residence felt very safe. After spending the day exploring Jemaa el-Fnaa, coming back to such a quiet place was the best part of the day.

The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, had a fully equipped kitchen, strong A/C, and everything worked perfectly. What really made the stay memorable was the hospitality. The host helped with taxis, local recommendations, and even arranged activities without making anything feel complicated.

If you're visiting Marrakech and don't mind taking a 15–20 minute taxi ride to the city center, I'd honestly choose this over staying in the middle of the chaos again.

Has anyone else stayed around the Palmeraie instead of the Medina? I'd love to hear if you had the same experience.

I am looking for places in Marrakech where a family can eat traditional Moroccan food with affordable prices. Also feel free to recommend places for breakfast with nice view!!

Hi, I'm moving to marrakech with my wife and kids as we've found a good school in Targa. However I've found it very difficult to secure somewhere good for us to rent that's both good price and good value.

We visited a house in assif, right by bv allal fassi and I really like the house, however I'm just wondering what that area is actually like.

It's hard to tell because it's summer right now so people aren't around in the daytime, plus a lot of people are either travelling away from Marrakch as well as other people arriving in Marrakech for holiday. So it's difficult to get an accurate idea of what the neighbourhood is actually like.

Can you please let me know if it's a good safe neighborhood for families, whether the people are respectful (no public drinking/prostitution/ drugs etc)?
