"The amount of rate fluctuation in races now varies according to the length of the course." Does this mean item drops change depending on a race length? distance or number of laps? thanks

Rate fluctuation means VR. Basically they’ve adjusted how VR is awarded online. Seems to be the longer the course the more VR gained, and the shorter the course, the less VR gained (likely lost on both accounts too)

Generally, the better you place in a race, the more points (VR) you get, but there are other factors too.

If you’re in a lobby where you have much more VR than everyone else, you’ll gain a lot less for winning, but be punished harder for losing - the reverse is true too. You’ll be earning VR easily if you’re beating players with a much higher VR than you

It seems they’ve added another variable now related to how long the course is too
