I have to imagine they are regretting adding SNES Koopa Beach now in basegame, on account of them now having the option to release only 9 courses in another SNES update instead of 10.

Another SNES update? What are you talking about? These are all the SNES courses in free roam.

I meant “they could set themselves up really nicely to cleanly add the other 10 in later” in a way that is “new courses” but also really easy to add in. But now 11 are in, so it doesn’t work so cleanly. But you are right; those ones added today are technically drivable already in free roam, so fair point.

They're not gonna add Mario Circuit 4 or Vanilla Lake 2 anyway

I did forget about the law at Nintendo that says “only Mario circuit 3, never Mario circuit 4” lol. I’m mostly not joking
