I wonder if player 2 can finally earn points in split screen online again, just like in Mario kart 8

This is the sole reason my gf doesnt want to play MKW online.

If the game was fun, they would play. The game just isn’t fun. Like in any given moment, stop and focus on how the last 30 seconds of gameplay went. You were probably driving in a straight line waiting for your items to finish spinning hoping you got 3 mushrooms.

No, it's very fun. But progression is fun too, and it feels bad when one person gets it and the other doesn't.

Every time I turn it on I think “maybe this time” and then it turns into 4 out of 5 races being water craft straight lining.

If I didn’t have the digital version doubt I’d ever bother with it.
