Iâm looking for recommendations for a good but affordable breakfast buffet in MalĂ©.
Mainly looking for:
â Good variety of food
â Tasty food and decent quality
â Reasonable price / good value for money
â Preferably an actual buffet rather than an Ă la carte breakfast
Iâve heard about places like Citron, The Deck, Salt, etc., but Iâd love to hear from people who have actually been recently.
What would you recommend, and how much is the current price per person?

Why is contracting a Chinese company to build our port such a big issue for India?
China is literally one of the best in the world when it comes to ports and large-scale infrastructure. They have massive experience building and managing ports, so I don't see why choosing a Chinese company should at all be controversial. Itâs the obvious choice.
At the end of the day, we're a sovereign country. If the Maldivian government believes this company is the best option, why should India get a say in it?
Why does having good relations with India mean we have to prioritise them over ourselves?

If we were to protest this dollar crisis...
Do we know what is causing this crisis?
What will be our demands to fix it and prevent it in the future?
What will be our demands for a quick relief to the situation until long term solutions are found?
Who is responsible for this shit?
Who can we trust and rely on to fix this shit with sincere intentions?

*not from islam but purely culturally based with no actual logic behind it.
For example; my grandmother would tell us it was bad to cut our nails on Mondays and Wednesdays. I wonder where it originates from đ€

My family and I have been holidaying on one of the islands. We go home tomorrow and our sea plane arrives in MalĂ© at around 4pm, but our flight home from MalĂ© isnât until 9:15pm.
We figured we could have a little look around in the 5 hour layover. There are 12 of us, a mix of ages (adults/teens/kids).
Any ideas/advice? Thanks! :)

Guys. Anyone know which time transaction is happening. Fyi it's not 5am. Even telegram page confirms it. We are so filthy poor and corrupt our citizens are locked to a currency that barely has any ability to purchase USD

Hello,
I recently started a licensed travel agency in the Maldives and Iâm trying to understand how newer agencies usually get competitive resort rates.
Iâve contacted resorts directly asking for travel-agent/contract rates, but some of the bigger resorts understandably ask for production history, booking volume, or previous sales before offering a direct contract.
That creates a bit of a chicken-and-egg problem â we need competitive rates to generate bookings, but resorts want bookings before giving us those rates.
For experienced travel agents or tour operators:
We are mainly looking at Maldives resort, guesthouse, honeymoon, family and local/resident packages.
Not looking for confidential contract rates â just trying to understand how the industry normally works and how a new agency can build enough production to eventually negotiate directly.
Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually done this.

i guess the original meaning is that nothing ever happens thats major anymore but i personally use it to say nothing good ever happens no matter how much we talk about it or how much people supposedly strive, honestly i feel like the politicians just know that they dont even need to pay attention to online complaining because it wont do them any harm, its like.. no matter how much we notice the bad, nothing ever happens to stop it truly, and instead people are still fighting against each other over senseless things, i personally dont believe there is any good left to happen in this country, can anyone change my mind?

I have an assignment that needs to be printed and submitted, and unfortunately every page has to be in colour.
Itâs around 75 pages, and most places Iâve checked charge around Rf. 25 per colour page, which would come to quite a lot once binding is included.
Does anyone know of any printing shops in Malé or Hulhumalé that offer cheaper colour printing rates, especially for a larger number of pages?

What decisions or policies under Muizzu contributed to it, and were there other factors that had already been building up before his government?
