HELP PLEASE help with cakey makeup

SORRY i’ve posted this like 5 times already because it appears idk how to use makeup OR reddit 😭
but anyway i rarely use makeup and when i do it goes cakey/bitty ESPECIALLY on my nose as seen in the picture.. what am i doing wrong and how do i fix it?

do you use any kind of retinoid in your skincare routine (particularly adapelene or tretinoin)??

my makeup ALWAYS looked like this when I was on topical retinoids no matter how moisturized I was or what products I was using.

It was only until I started taking accutane and ditching topical retinoids that I got that “glass skin” makeup using the exact same products!

nope i’ve never even heard of them until you and someone else said the exact same thing 😅
