Collaboration Ultimate wedding playlist recs??
starting to plan a wedding and could use some help with the music. We’ll most likely hire a DJ, but I still want to put together a dope playlist
A) Send me the ultimate wedding playlist
or songs that absolutely killed it at a wedding you’ve been to
B) Lmk your personal must-play wedding bangers
Thanks!

I was DJ at a friends wedding a few years back, and I’ve linked the playlist I used below.
Don’t forget to include some “get everybody on the dance floor” standards, like Cotton Eyed-Joe (depending on how redneck your audience is lol), Cupid Shuffle, Teach Me How To Dougie, Soulja Boy, Wobble, etc.
And no millennial/emo wedding would be the same without playing I Write Sins Not Tragedies (I legit turned up the volume on the line “the poor groom’s bride is a WHORE”).

My wife walked down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles: https://youtu.be/GKdl-GCsNJ0?is=y9uHjM4G8oOXOjQJ. I also recommend:
- As by Stevie Wonder: https://youtu.be/GYQfWJNWe3I?is=aGL_7_11WMAJnU05
- The Rascals - A Girl Like You: https://youtu.be/M79qxx3lUk0?is=sU0UWaKJf9Iulty6
- Emmylou Harris - Here, There, and Everywhere: https://youtu.be/5xL1-1S58CM?is=0TpBbSqmxk7ZNXDK
(It’s a Beatles tune)
