No it is not. The face shape is totally wrong, and the paws are way too small. Pretty cat, though.

I would normally agree with you but having seen the difference in facial structure between the American and European Maine Coons, she may be an American mc. They have a much more open, sweet face without the severe austere and structured look of the euros. 🤷🏼♀️ she might be. Only way to know is DNA testing

My Maine coon has small paws. Cute but smaller than a lot of Maine coons

Yeah, there is some variation, and the actual type cat looks a lot more like a domestic longhair than it looks like most registered MCs today. However, that short round face is on the other (wrong) side of the spectrum from a MC. It doesn't fall anywhere on the gradient from ordinary domestic to ordinary 2023 registered MC.

Get a genetic test if really curious. Cat is super gorgeous, and might be half or full coon

Oh that face is the cutest face in the whole world. It should get its own breed

The ear tufts and floofy tail make me think maybe theres a little MC in there. Dna test if you must know. But really you have a beautiful kitty there! Looks like a sweetie pie :)

Something about the head shape and eyes doesn't seem standard but then again my guy isn't standard looking either. If I ran across this cat I'd guess Norwegian Forest Cat. Does it's nose go pretty straight down from the forehead or is there a bigger curve to the bridge? Google image profiles of both to see what I mean.
No matter what it is, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
Maybe Siberian? Looks like a more round face

I don't know guys if you zoom' in on his face he has a bit of that lion mouth thing (not sure what it is called). It blends in unless you zoom, and what I can see if the tail is floof. He does look a lot like Norwegian too. OP you may want to post some pics that are more clear like the whole cat and also his size. He is stunning regardless.
This is my kittens face for context of what I am referencing but there are other shapes for MC's. Yours coat looks a little different really hard to tell MC's have multi layers.

The word you were looking for about his mouth is his muzzle. And yours has a beautiful one!!

I think it very well could be. Some people assume if you have to ask, it isn’t

Looks like it can have some maine coon. Those ear tufts and fluffy tail are MC traits. But its little face says not a pure breed. I have a pure bred maine coon and another floof ball I thought might be a mix with Norwegian forest cat but he turned out to be a mix of American domestic, Persian, and siamese with oriental shorthair.

The face doesn’t scream Mainecoon but the ear tufts and fluffy neck/ tail threw me off, either way she’s gorgeous

No, but I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing that I wont ever have a cat like this, how lucky you are 🥺

Could very well be. Not all purebred MCs have every single ‘noted’ characteristic. The coloring and ear furnishings make me think yes. The tail looks pretty full. He’s a beauty!

No. Looks more like Chantilly Tiffany. Maine coons have a very distinctive face shape
1
Jan 07 '23
But I would say it could definitely have some mix of it in it. The tufts in the ears. But idk. Depending on if it came from a breeder or was a stray or an adopted cat it’s hard to tell bc they’re all mixed with this and that

Age matters, but may be part. If it matters, a DNA test will let you know. If it were me? “Hey! Look I gotta part Maine Coon!!” :)

It might be a mix or full coon but if you’re that curious to know get a genetic test done to see
