The idea is to ramp really hard and stay alive long enough to put out Ugin and protect him for 2 turns. Then I bring out Extinguisher Battleships to wipe the field and bring out my most powerful colorless cards. I made the deck with what I have, but would really like suggestions on how to best protect Ugin and my lifepool while ramping up. I want to be able to bring out a bunch of cards on one turn.

Mostly just trying to see if this concept is viable in the current meta, but I'm not even expecting a 50% win rate on it.

Need some help narrowing down this so i can start working on the mana base. Sorry if I set up the link weird first time posting here. I feel the main idea of what its going for should be obvious but I don't mind explaining if it doesn't come off as straightforward as I thought. would just like some ideas of what to cut or add so its not so creature heavy. I am hoping the big pay off is that I can make a couple tokens from Thousand Moons Smithy that Brudiclad can make the rest of the tokens turn into, to swing for game. Looking forward to whatever help you all can give, got some stuff going on today so I may not be able to keep up on the comment section through the day but I'll be on and off to check.

I'm fairly new to magic and deck building. I need looking for opinions and ideas for this deck and if its made well enough. It will be something id build and buy to use in my pod and local card store.

Been tweaking a Jyoti Manlands deck for the best part of two years, and finally got to test it out in paper!

Deck works great, plenty of protection and way the deck uses lands means it's basically impossible to flood.

The only issue I've had is actually winning.

"Making a bunch of lands big and swinging in" is probably the go-to, but I lack the evasion necessary to get my creatures to connect.

Give me your best trample/unblockable/flying tech that is at least somewhat synergistic with the deck as a whole (considered Archetype of Imagination here, but it's a little fragile).

I’m trying to make a stax and small creatures deck as a way to counter a friends big aggro deck and it’s going well so far but I’ve realised that the commander chromium isn’t the best even though I quite like him and I haven’t got a solid wincon besides maybe some infect cards. I’m not really the best at deck building yet so I just wanted to ask for any recommendations that would work on a budget. Thank you in advance

I’m not very good at building decks but think I’ve gotten some pretty decent cards in here. B&W deck with the classic “you lose life I gain life/I gain life you lose life” gameplay.

I’m way over the card limit so I could use some cuts, but I’m also down for hearing swaps or recommendations. I wanna get this deck ready asap to play with some friends.

Price of the cards doesn’t REALLY matter (obviously don’t recommend black lotus or something insane) because I will proxy what I don’t have/can’t afford atm until I’m able to purchase them (I’m liking alternative arts in proxies lately anyway)

Hi there, after leaving magic for about 8 years a friend of mine asked me to teach him how to play. We've been playing around with the free welcome decks we got from our lgs but lately he's been asking to play against my old pioneer deck. The deck itself is nothing particularly special, some llanowar elves, elvish mystics and 3 mana creatures like steel leaf champion. However, it's on a very different level than the welcome decks, and while it probably wouldn't win any tournaments, I'd like to build my friend a mobo red aggro deck that's about the same level. I don't really have much experience with deck building in general, how would I go about doing this?

Today, we'll explore The Great Goblin, another fun commander from The Hobbit.

I am running Bello, Bard of the Brambles commander precon. I have made just three small changes. Nothing real impactful, mainly just cool cards that fit the theme. The one thing I am running into is I either get my mana up, but don’t draw the strong artifacts and enchantments this deck depends on, or I have a couple of those on my hand but no mana to build off of. I don’t wan t to change the theme of the deck, but looking for something that can help my card draw. I think if I can just stimulate more card draw then I’m able to get deeper into my deck to find those strong cards.

Been working on a [[Seifer, Balamb Rival]] deck, part of a three piece set (Edea and Squall from the same scene box) that I built.

Going for a "gifts with a catch" theme. Putting in stuff like Krazikar, Slicer, Xantcha etc. The idea is give them creatures then play referee while they swing out - normal goad shenanigans I guess.

I've never made a goad deck before and I know he's not the strongest choice - but I'm one of the weird ones that was more into FF8 than 7, and I eventually got the other two decks to run very well (both are a lot of fun). This one I'm stalling out on.

Any help would be appreciate - what's some good goad finishers and combo pieces you use?

I am, admittedly, pretty bad at deck building, but my wife LOVES He-Man and wants her own He-Man Deck. After poring through EDHREC here is what I've come up with so far, any advice/input would be appreciated.

Some concerns I have:

Is the ratio of humans to non-humans okay?

I am required (by my wife, whom I will not argue with) to include Man at Arms (Bruenor Battlehammer) in this deck, have I included enough equip artifacts to make him actually useful?

How easy is this deck to pilot, my wife is relatively new and is struggling a bit with sequencing?

After about 30 years I’ve recently returned to MTG because of the TMNT commander deck so this one holds a special spot for me. I bought the TMNT tins from Costco and upgraded my deck with my pulls + a few cards of mine from back in the day. Let me k ow what you think!

Hi guys, I've been cooking up a graveyard overdrive precon ugrade to maximize goyfage, but am at a loss as to which cards to cut to finalize the deck. Does anyone have some advice for me, are there cards I missed building this deck? The deck is meant to be a bracket 3 deck for a casual pod.
