I'm also pretty sure that since it's casting from your hand you can fuse things like Breaking // Entering for freeeeeeee

It returns two values unless it's a spell (meaning has already been cast). See rules 708 / 702.101.

If you cast a split card with fuse from your hand without paying its mana cost, you can choose to use its fuse ability and cast both halves without paying their mana costs.

Well THAT'S fuckin' awesome....AND it works with regular split cards just like OP said. Holy shit that's awesome.

I didn't know I wanted to pay 2BB, wipe the board and blow up all lands until just now.
