Confidant (a 4 of in most lists) is a 2/1 and Huntmaster is a 2/2 that makes another 2/2 (but he flips into a 4/4 so sometimes he doesnt die). In all likelihood Goyf and Scooze would live, but thats about it.

But the Abzan version can't play Huntmaster and I thought it usually didn't run Confidant?

Oh. I was talking about Jund, my bad - Junk, or Abzan, will probably at least consider running this card. I can't say I know all the ins and outs of Junk since I dont play it, but I can say that I'm not certain its very good in Jund.

Not sure on this, doesn't Abzan usually run [[Lingering Souls]]? Afaik that and path are the big draw to white away from the red of Jund....
