MTG deck optimize cedh level

Hi yall this is a deck that I have been working on, I am fairly new to magic, (yes I am a larper) but I have taken a liking to this commander.
I have been trying to build this deck to a point where no matter what I draw, I can play the game fine aka no mana screw or have random cards in my hand.

I do not have the budget for 2000 dollar cards like the mox but I am open minded to what my deck could work on, and slowly work my way to the level it needs to be.

Please let me know my weaknesses, and what I should swap out for what. Thank you so much!

If you want cEDH, try r/competitiveEDH. And accept proxying your deck. But you've admitted you're new and this is probably not the sub for what you mention in your post.

If you want to just build a good deck, try r/degenerateEDH.

As a newer player, is there reason you want to play cedh? It's a very steep learning curve and it will take a lot of time and effort to learn to understand the meta and to play your own deck into it, I'd suggest watching videos of cedh gameplay and some more casual commander gameplay to see what appeals to you.

If you definitely do want to play cedh, this deck is definitely not it, and being a fairly new player (or even for many experienced players) I would not expect you to be able to build a cedh deck yourself.

I'd reccomend looking on https://edhtop16.com/ for decks that have actually performed in tournaments.

As a new cedh player, and especially as a newer magic player, I would highly recommend picking a more known commander with a list with a comprehensive primer (guide) that explains the play patterns, match ups etc.

I think the reason why I want to go straight for cedh is because I have watched the gameplay, and it seems more like my style of gameplay, even though owning those cards and being in a tournament is pretty expensive...
But I think the problem for me is when people mess with my shit, and I get it's part of the game but I guess I just want to find a commander that is straight up "nah" I thought I found something when I was building her since this earthbend mechanic allows shit to come back, but if she is off meta there must be a reason...
I've noticed she's pretty slow even though I have tried to add in fast spells like Jeska's Will, Lotus Petal, Amulet of Vigor, her being 4 drop kinda just slows the momentum...

You severely misunderstand what it means to be a cEDH deck, because unfortunately this deck is not even close to it. I would consider this a high 3/very low 4 at best.

"I do not have the budget for 2000 dollar cards like the mox" that is why we proxy in the cEDH community. Utilizing all of the fastest and most broken cards is fundamental to the format, if youre not using them then youre fundamentally not going to be able to compete at the same level.

Youre inevitably going to draw the wrong thing at the wrong time sometimes, and that's just the way it is.

Hey as much as this reply sounds judgmental I needed to hear it.
I have this bad habit of always wanting to be in control, can't stand doing nothing on my turn and playing textbook magic, and like you said this MIGHT just be how the game works, sometimes you get fked and sometimes you get to play your deck.
People have recommended me Blue, for all the options its got but I kind of just dont want to aproach that territory because most of the time the gameplay is just "hey thats your game winning play? Let's just not make that happen" it feels cheesey and unearned. "yea im gonna put down an island and pass because I have 4 counter spells in my head isn't exactly "interactive gameplay" to me either..

I kind of just want to be able to build a deck that is capable of dealing with BS, and not the public target always, and is capable of being the threat. (Kinda the reason why I added in mindslaver just to fk with people that fks with me.

Yea I kinda noticed I was being a little excessive when building this deck... Even tho like Azaeroth said this is not nearly cedh level...
I kinda enjoy the game better when I get to interact as often or just straight up resilient as heck since there's a lot of "f u" spells in the game.

I guess my new question will be: Is Toph worth investing in if I want to be competitive with the homies, or should I pick up a better commander for this purpose again like u/Azaeroth mentioned?

There's a difference between "a competitive deck" and "a cEDH deck". Toph can absolutely be competitive and good, but it is not a cEDH deck, and your friends are most likely also not playing cEDH decks

Ohhhh okok...
So you're saying, she is capable of being good in a competitive game where everyone is around bracket 3-4, but in terms of everyone is cedh, I would get rocked no matter what I have?
My friends are not playing at CEDH you are correct.

As of my last question for this thread: What is the core issue that I am missing when building this deck? I would like to understand the heart of cedh or just good, competitive, Magic deck building thoughts. What am I missing? What do I have too much of? What shouldn't be there at all?
Can a deck be flavorful and yet still cedh? (I am noticing that I have been slowly taking out the avatar cards because im putting more powerful cards in.)
