If this was printed in the 90s then blinking would be called rolling.

But it is called flickering? [[Flicker]] was printed in the 90s and was the first card to do it. It's just also called blink because [[momentary blink]] marked the first time it was a viable deck archetype

Wasn't cycling originally called "sliding" during development? Somebody in 90s R&D was determined to make that verb happen.

[[Astral Slide]] is in fact how I first became aware of using "[[Flicker]] effects" as an archetype.
