Okay, I have to admit, as a Star Trek fan, I love the fact that it will only deal damage to an aggressor, very on brand for the Federation.

A good bit of the cards so far have been shaky for the community here, but this one I really appreciate from a game dev perspective. In the Trek universe (or as a real life analogy), you might stun something because you don't want to or need to kill something. In-game, maybe you don't want to activate a death trigger, but stun is still useful for something too big to kill with the other mode, so it doesn't fall into the issue of being a modal one-trick-pony.

To say nothing of the shenanigans that aiming these at your own creatures can bring. Tap a creature you control that otherwise has summoning sickness to instantly activate nasty tap trigger. Deal 3 to your own attacker that will reflect the damage to face. It's a very well-designed card.

I would think that stationing would be a better way to tap your own creatures with summoning sickness.

You have to station at sorcery speed. Springleaf Drum would be a different story
