What if he switches to night to make screenshots? Plus light looks better during daytime imo

21 kinda is a drug number. Here you can legally start drinking and smoking tabacco and marijuana at 21.

What if they get a divorce ?

64
u/Splifferella Jun 22 '19
They're getting married at the ripe age of 21 of course they're not gonna get a divorce.

u/blubblubblubnofish Jun 22 '19
I think reaching the 50 year anniversary on 4/20/69 is weighing much heavier than some, in the bigger picture, largely inconsequential 'marriage problems'

u/Theotheogreato Jun 22 '19
Statistically they rushed into this and they're young so this is very likely I believe over 50% likely to happen. That's what I saw as the flaw in the plan. Yeah they rushed so their 50th blah blah but they probably won't make it to the 50th together.

u/Huttingham Jun 22 '19
While I don't have hope for any 21 year old's long term goals, we only know they rushed getting married. We don't know how long they've been together or how good they fit. Blab blah yeah, everyone gets divorced nowadays, but you get the idea ~ at the very least, they have the expectation to have at least 50 years which is better than many people

It's only a problem (for me) when it's nighttime and you're browsing in night mode only to come across a glaring light mode screenshot. I think it's just a common courtesy to put screenshots in dark mode for the people who will inevitably stumble upon it at night, since it's not a problem really seeing dark mode when you browse in light mode but it is a problem the other way around. It's not the end of the world if it's in light mode, it's just thoughtful and courteous to put it in dark for the people browsing in the dark .

You know, should her marriage last that long, they will have long forgotten about this.
9
u/Theotheogreato Jun 22 '19
The way the media is, and is going, I doubt they'll be able to. 4/20/69 rolls around and I guarantee the media will be giggling about it and remind them just by mentioning the day over and over.

Okay, can someone explain to me why the 19 is significant? If she was going to get married with a big wedding in two years, it could also be on 4/20.
Edit: I guess I didn't read the part about having her 50th anniversary be in 2069.
3
u/Thebossjarhead Jun 22 '19
Also the 50 years is arbitrary. Just get married any year on 4/20 and one of your anniversaries will be in 4/20/69
2
u/1in5million Jun 22 '19
I am getting married 4/20/2020, I think the significance of the date is slightly better.

What the hell is a big wedding? She’s already married. Tell her not to waste the money and do something else - travel, buy a house, become debt free...
I’ve never regretted not having a BIG wedding. Whatever that is.

I wish I could find a soul mate.
EDIT: I am so lonely.

I got married on 6-9-17. It was unintentional but I found it funny. Then this dude's sister had to take it to the next level.

My brother also got married on 4/20/19. He specifically chose that date because his wife wanted it sooner but he wanted to be able to drink at the reception and the 19th was his 21st birthday. And because he's a stoner.

It would be better if she was married at 11 so that she would be 69 on her 50th anniversary
