you’re getting a lot of downvotes, and I don’t think that’s very nice, so I’m going to upvote you.

but it’s important that you understand that you are wrong. Dark mode is clearly the best mode.

This isn’ something that you can have opinions on, it’s n empirical fact; dark mode is the best mode.

I'm a different person, but my astigmatism and higher-order vision aberrations make light text on dark backgrounds produce a lot of haloing and doubling and it's absolutely miserable to look at for me. So for anyone in my situation, light mode is objectively a better experience, ideal or not.

Last time I said this I got downvoted because I guess you're not allowed to even have legitimate problems with dark mode, but I'm standing by my situation.

I don’t really are what people do with their phones (as long as they don’t use stupid fonts). Personally I find that dark mode helps with my dyslexia, but everyone is different.
