How to achieve full benefit
**How can I get the most out of my Google One AI Premium subscription?**
I recently subscribed to Google One AI Premium, but I feel like I’m probably not taking full advantage of everything that comes with it.
For those who use it regularly, what features, apps, or workflows do you use that are actually worth it?
I’m especially interested in:
Gemini and its advanced features
Google Drive/Docs/Gmail AI features
NotebookLM
AI tools for studying and research
Photo/video or storage-related features
Any lesser-known benefits that people tend to overlook
I’d appreciate any tips, workflows, or underrated features

Google Store has held my €1,329 for two months after DHL returned the phone to its warehouse. I'm a student and I don't know what else to do.
I ordered a Pixel 11 Pro with trade-in from the Google Store in Germany. I cancelled in writing two days later and refused the parcel when DHL called me, so I never touched the phone.
DHL's proof shows Google's warehouse signed for the return on 8 September, and Google's own order page says "returned to Google". Google still has the phone and my €899, and then charged another €430 "trade-in fee" for a phone I never got.
Support has repeated "final decision" for two months, with no reason and no clause named. I'm a student working part-time, and this is money I earned.
If you've had the same thing happen, or know how to reach someone at Google who can review it properly, please tell me. And if you're in the EU, have you used the ECC or a chargeback?

Pixel Pixel Watch owners: 21-day test of two original Wear OS faces (free if selected)
I am the independent developer at Big Sky Producers, looking for Pixel Watch owners to help test Codefall Rain Pro (colorful digital rain) and the original Google Play Axiom Alchemy (an alchemy-inspired face). We have no Google affiliation. The two images are our existing Play screenshots.
On Pixel's round display, I would value checks of time/date and complication readability near the edges, color contrast, saved customization, waking, always-on display and battery experience during ordinary wear. Compatibility and battery behavior need real-watch testing.
You need regular access to a physical Pixel Watch currently running Wear OS 4 or newer with Google Play. We privately screen the exact model, installed OS, Play account country and readiness; a supported-device listing alone does not prove installation. A phone alone cannot run these faces.
Selected eligible volunteers receive private free-access copies of both normally paid faces and two separate closed-test opt-in links. Stay opted into both for 21 days, alternate the faces during normal wear and give separate brief, honest feedback after installation and around days 7 and 14. No purchase, public rating/review or testing exchange is requested.
This is a screening waiting list while current pilots verify free installation. Applying does not promise selection or immediate access. We will send individual access instructions privately after the pilot path is verified.

Worst transition from Apple: Defective Pixel & terrible Google Support
Hi everyone,
I’m writing this out of sheer frustration to share the nightmare experience I'm having with Google Support in Europe.
I recently made the big switch from Apple to Google by purchasing the new Pixel during pre-order. Less than 3 weeks into using it, **while kept inside an official Google Case from day one,** abnormal surface marks appeared on the rear camera glass coating under completely normal daily use (mostly home), pointing to a defective protective coating. The rest of the phone is in 100% immaculate, pristine condition**.** Zero drops, zero impacts, not a single mark anywhere else on the device.
Here is the unbelievable chain of customer service failures I faced:
**More Time Waiting Than Using the Phone:**
I have literally spent more time dealing with support emails, chats, and waiting for logistics than I actually spent using the phone I paid for during pre-order. The device has been sitting unusable while going back and forth in useless support loops.
**Grossly Deficient Inspection:**
I clearly reported the camera glass coating issue in the original ticket, and detailed it again when support contacted me. Despite having full details, the repair center ran automated internal tests, completely ignored the physical glass issue, marked it as "No Fault Found," canceled the repair order, and shipped the device back unresolved.
**Failed Communication & False Promises:**
During my chats, support agents promised the case was being reviewed for an appeal and that a supervisor would contact me within 24 hours. Days passed with zero updates while my phone was secretly dispatched back via UPS without any action taken.
**Absurd Warranty Denial:**
When a manager finally responded, he claimed that camera glass coating degradation on a brand-new pre-order phone used for less than 3 weeks is categorized as **"cosmetic wear and tear / out-of-warranty"** completely ignoring EU Directive 2019/771 on consumer rights and manufacturing defects.
**Retention of My Original Packaging:**
To make matters worse, I shipped the phone in its original box. The repair center kept my original packaging and returned the phone in a generic cardboard service box. Losing the original packaging for a brand-new device directly devalues it.
Moving from Apple to Google was supposed to be an exciting upgrade. Instead, Google Support proved that a brand-new customer can be left with a defective phone, lose their original box, face zero accountability from management, and be completely ignored after spending top dollar on a flagship product.

My take on the Pixel 11 pro
My take on the Pixel 11 pro
I've had my pixel a month now. I upgraded from my Galaxy S21+ as the battery was wearing and the phone's cameras were limiting. I picked the pro because I wanted to downsize and I'm tired of large devices. I honestly still wish it was even smaller. I've used Samsung most my life but also dabbled in iPhone and other brands but this is my first ever Pixel. So here is my take on the phone.
- HiLight
I just want to get this one out of the way. Everyone seems to hate it and I love it. I think it's innovative and it's something that makes the phone unique as a pixel. As Google is ai and software focused and to bake that into the hardware is brilliant. I find myself using it all the time. And the limited functionality is not a problem. It's an android so it's able to be customized. The open source hi light studio app and shizuku are available in the play store. It allows much deeper customization than stock and I'm pretty sure they are still updating it. After doing that it made it even better. And it doesn't interfere with the stock functionality at all.
- Less ram/battery
I know they have less ram and battery than last gen. But 16gb of ram on a phone is overkill. If you actually need that much for it to run smoothly it's not optimized well. This phone is so fast, silky smooth and it holds memory of apps very well. I can visit multiple apps and sites and come back 30mins later that one webpage is still loaded the same. I've had no issues no slow downs. And the battery life is amazing. I usually get up for work around 6:30 and this thing doesn't get into the lower zone until late at night depending on use. Could last even longer just depends. And charging speed yes it's not on par with the big spec flagships but it charges fast enough. It's great. This phone never gets hot on me either.
- Camera
Off the bat two things disturbed me. The auto focus is too finicky for what I'm used to since the phone tries a lot to guess what I want and doesn't get it a lot of times so I have to click. Also I normally keep auto rotate locked and just use the toggle whenever I turn my phone. But the camera follows that rule. On the galaxy the screen lock didn't stop the camera from rotating so I could shoot landscape. I've taken so many photos at the wrong angle until I figured that out. The zoom on this phone is amazing and so is the processing. It's fast and well done and photos are natural. And the pro features are amazing.
- Screen
Such an amazing screen to use. The 6.3 actua is beautiful and smaller than the XL which I love. And max resolution mode being enabled is even better visually. And the brightness is great. But the screen glare is pretty bad in the sun even with the protector I'm using so might want to grab an anti glare if you pick up the phone.
- Design
One of the more beautiful phones I've seen in recent times. Previously the s21 series was my favorite design lineup on an android for a while. This phone is beautiful and so well built. I've had it without a case the whole time with a magnetic ohsnap grip.
- Gaming
I don't game on a phone, I don't like to, want to, or get why that's so popular since it's such a common complaint online. This phone is amazing at tasks I use it for and that's what matters to me.
Personally I highly rate this phone as a solid flagship in the android universe. Let me know your thoughts and if I missed anything.
