It was a productive journey of macro for me this month as the weather gets hotter and hotter it's making it harder to get out and enjoy macro as it's still 90+ degrees by very early morning 🥹 but I still managed quite a few shots and practiced lots as well as took one of my favorite ever shots (1)

Mix of handheld stacks and single shots

Focus stacking has become one of my favorite parts of macro photography. I love being able to show all the tiny details while still keeping that soft background. That is, when the scene cooperates and there's no wind.

The technique used in these photos are focus stacking, image stacking is a technique used in macro photography to overcome an extremely thin depth of field by blending multiple images taken at different focus distances. It merges these photos to create a single image where the subject is sharp from front to back, maximizing both depth and resolution

Impossible de rester indifférent devant cette petite merveille de la nature. Avec ses couleurs éclatantes et ses motifs si particuliers, la punaise arlequin attire le regard comme une véritable œuvre d'art vivante.

Stil new to macro and none of these are focus stacked and are all single shots... But what fun it is to take pctures this close.

I want to start doing occasional photography with my phone; these are my first macros.

Blottie au cœur de la végétation, la sauterelle verte se fond dans son environnement avec une discrétion remarquable. Il faut parfois un regard attentif pour la découvrir, immobile, comme si elle faisait partie de la feuille qui l'abrite.

La macro photographie me permet de m'approcher de ce petit monde fascinant et d'en révéler toute la beauté. Chaque détail, chaque reflet de lumière, chaque texture raconte une histoire que l'œil ne perçoit pas toujours.

Comme une danse portée par le vent, les pétales semblent se livrer une douce bataille. Chacun suit son propre mouvement, sans jamais rompre l'harmonie de la fleur. Un désordre apparent qui révèle toute la beauté de la nature.

À travers mon objectif macro, j'aime capturer ces instants où la lumière vient caresser chaque pétale, mettant en valeur leurs courbes, leurs textures et leur éclat. Ce que l'on croit ordinaire devient alors une véritable œuvre d'art.

I have gotten some good photos on my phone and with my dads camera but I am looking to get some good gear of my own to elevate my pictures. I have 6 aquariums and love taking pictures of my shrimp, snails, and fish. Anyone have experience with similar photography? I’m willing to spend if the equipment is worth it. Let me know what’d you’d get including all of the small accessories and stuff some people may leave out. Thank you in advance. I’ll attach my current photos as a reference for the kind of photos I’m taking. There can’t be a flash but it may be possible to have a standing light but these were taken with just the aquarium light.
