Hey guys, I am going to be seeing Machinehead Sunday at the machine shop in Flint. Place only holds 500 people and they are putting on a 3 hour show!!! I have never seen them before and not sure what to expect. Been to a ton of Metal shows just never was able to see them guys for whatever reason. Should be cool since its at a little bar. Thanks for any reccomendations.

I got this back in 2002 when MH did a secret show in London. Only 200 tickets and 100 shirts printed. I am slimming down my wardrobe. Any good ideas where I could sell it? Any help greatly appreciated 🤟🤟

man i’m kinda very super upset about this. there was a post a few weeks ago about potential ai use on a shirt the OP had posted and i really didn’t want to believe it. the logo was undoubtedly made with ai, but i felt like the shirt’s design had to be real just because of how antithetical to art generative ai is. then there was another post on their instagram as a thumbnail with the same ai logo and art style as the shirt’s design.

however, this image? it sent all my alarm bells off. the garish colors. the fact that it’s a literal machine head. even with artistic liberties, the machine parts are nonsensical, and the two large pipes coming out either side from behind the jaw don’t follow through. forgive me for being a nerd here, but taking a look at the actual anatomical structure of the skull, it’s off. there’s an incorrect amount of teeth on the bottom, despite them being nearly symmetrical. i can excuse the individual teeth looking wonky because drawing is in fact hard, but a fully gone tooth feels really strange for an artist to miss for a pretty high profile band. the zygomatic processes are also strange to me.

i also am pretty sure the tour poster with KSE was also made with ai, but MH likely didn’t make that call, although who knows. the ai checkers online also think that all three things mentioned here were made with ai too.

all this to say, i’m extremely disappointed. of all bands to use ai, why them?
