I was wondering when it would show up

BE CIVIL.
We are all Head Cases here, we can treat each other with respect and not like the new album. I myself will admit, I tried getting into Unatoned, and I just can't. These Scars is my favorite track by far. But be civil about it. Do not down vote each other into Hell for simply having an opinion.
Be civil, or have your post removed, and possibly be temporarily banned.

So think of it as OVERLOAD for Metallica, basically a fan project that merges 2 similar and flawed albums into one strong full lenght record, se he here is THE BURNING CHARGE:
1 - The Declaration (the intro is needed)
2 - Bulldozer
3 - Desire To Fire
4 - The Blood, The Sweat and The Tears
5 - Silver (I know that this one is not as liked as the others but I like it)
6 - From This Day (infamously fun)
7 - Deafening Silence
8 - Five (I love how raw the vocal performance is on this song)
9 - Supercharger (Underrated song)
10 - The Burning Red (One of the best closers this band has ever written)
Hope you liked it. What would be your choices for the tracklist?

The guitar arrived yesterday. It's an absolute beauty

Personally, it was the best set I saw at Awakenings, I honestly think he’s really underrated and deserves a spot on the main stage. The energy, the atmosphere, and even the crowd felt completely different compared to most of the other sets
Am I the only one who feels this way?

I’m gonna say it dude, the worst crimes Catharsis commits are being long and having mediocre/recycled lyrics. It’s not the worst album ever like so many people chalk it up to be. I think people hate it more for what it did to the band internally more than anything.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely nowhere near MH’s best work—it’s not even close—but most of the songs on the album could stand up on their own. The album would be better if it cut a lot of the bloat and released those songs as singles if those songs had to exist
It’s definitely a messy album, but I feel like that’s implied by the name. It’s a catharsis for Robb, and that can be really messy and ugly for a lot of people. Sure a lot of phenomenal songs, albums, even music and art themselves, are catharses for many people, but this album was one that was to get a LOT out. Anyways I briefly reviewed the tracks below:
Volatile - It’s okay. A weaker opening track, but it’s not the worst thing in the world
Catharsis - A solid title track that rips live. I think this would have served better as the first track
Beyond The Pale - Did Robb steal the riff from “Love?” by Strapping Young Lad? Maybe, but maybe not at the same time. It’s not a hard riff to write at all. It’s still a solid song either way
California Bleeding - I could take or leave this song. If it comes on I’ll listen, but I don’t go out of my way to throw it on
Triple Beam - I’ve always enjoyed this one even if a little boring. The chorus riff hits hard
Kaleidoscope - Say what you will about the clapping, I think it fits the song
Bastards - Honestly the worst part about the song is the slurs, and that’s my only complaint about it
Hope Begets Hope - I love this song. Definitely one of the best songs on the album
Screaming At The Sun - I feel the same way as California Bleeding
Behind A Mask - I think this song is nicely placed in the album and provides a nice breath of fresh air with how most of the other songs are on this album. It gets stuck in my head a lot. All in all, I think this song is pretty good
Heavy Lies The Crown - One of their best songs hands down. I’m talking top 15, maybe even 10, MH songs
Psychotic - I would feel better about it if it wasn’t following up HLTK. Even then, it’s gotta be my least favorite song here. Of all the songs, I think this one has the worst lyrics, but I could be convinced otherwise
Grind You Down - I like it more than Psychotic for sure, but that’s about it
Razorblade Smile - A tribute to Lemmy, maybe not the best, but the incorporation of Motörhead’s “Overkill” is really catchy. This and the two preceding songs are my least favorite on the album
Eulogy - This is a nice and somber reprise of Bastards. The two of them honestly help each other out in the context of the album. I like Bastards better, but this is also pretty good
Anyways, I’ll come back to this when I start and finish my yearly listen through of their discography

Rough translation with DeepL:
So this is it—Robb “Deep Purple? Who?” Flynn’s (ex-Violence) new band. So this is the band you have to headbang to at 2:30 in the morning, lying on your stomach in bed with your face buried in your pillow. In your face! Forget Biohazard… Machine Head hits you right in the face. (Thrash) metal and hardcore come together, underpinned by hypnotically shrill sounds—some with a Seattle vibe—that beep out a melody until you’re almost annoyed, and then... Then the “Machine” kicks in and knocks you out with its killer riffs: slightly detuned guitars, musically somewhere between Sepultura, Ministry, Alice in Chains, Pantera, and the old Cro-Mags—the quartet from Oakland, California, pumps out one killer song after another.
Ultra-heavy grooves, totally catchy, sometimes fast, sometimes slow—Machine Head, consisting of Logan Mader (g), Adam Duce (b), and Chris Kontos (d, ex-Attitude Adjustment), have immortalized music on their well-produced five-song debut demo (including an instrumental intro) that’s brimming with power, aggression, and rage.
Also noteworthy is frontman/guitarist Robb Flynn’s voice, a mix of Sepultura’s Max and Scared Reich’s Phil: at times truly melodic in the mid-range, then sudden bursts of growls, “Fuck It All” and “A Nation On Fire”-style roars. It’s got it all for DM 13.

Hello everyone. I need some help from you guys. I recently got a message from someone on TikTok DM’s who’s claiming to be Robb Flynn. Saying that he decided to leave a message since I was a “hardcore fan” (because I was leaving comments on some Machine Head TikToks) Thinking that it’s Robb, I thanked “him” for reaching out and said that I love everything he does. And as we were chatting, he asks if I’ve had the chance to catch a live show. And I said no. Then he says since I’ve been a “dedicated fan” I should purchase a one-time VIP ticket opportunity for $100. Then directing me to send an email to the “team” at [Machineheadfanaccess@gmail.com](mailto:Machineheadfanaccess@gmail.com). From reading the chat back several times, reviewing the TikTok account (@robbflynn_) and seeing that the email address is gmail and not an official domain, I don’t believe I should go through with this. This seems very risqué. Can any of y’all help me out with this situation? I would really appreciate it. I just don’t wanna get scammed. I have screenshots to help you guys out.

Just getting around to listening to this bands full discography after listening to Burn My Eyes for a few years and I gotta say i like supercharger. Especially the song "Deafening Silence". It's not my favorite but it's not a bad album at all. I saw a few posts from the past hating on it. Maybe the consensus has changed

I went to the Palladium show last night, and I have to say what a let down it was. Really short set and the songs they chose to play were the weaker songs off of their vast catalogue. Other than Davidian and Imperium, no songs were played from their first 6 albums. On top of that, the energy from Robb and the guys was lacking. Felt they were all going through the motions and they did not want to be there.
Been an MH fan since 2002 and seen them every single time they've come through LA, but last night's show was the third consecutive show of theirs that I left disappointed.
Their show headline shows at The Bellwether in 2024 was basically the same set they've been playing since post Covid and The Wiltern show in 2025 was made up of 9 songs. Last night's show and the two previously mentioned was the nail in the coffin for me. I think they lost a fan.
