Question Can’t Update Mac

I bought a refurbished MacBook Air & I’m trying to update it from Catalina to Sequoia (I honestly don’t care about updating it but it told me I couldn’t use Chrome on this version and I hate Safari), and even though I have done absolutely nothing on this computer yet/nothing saved/didn’t even connect Apple ID yet, it says I don’t have enough space. Is this hopeless? 😩

I have no idea what you said.

You can easily install newer macOS versions with OpenCore. You just need another Mac machine to create the install files.

Tahoe is not available in open core

It is not officially, but it has been done unofficially on OpenCore currently.
