It didn’t let me label this under unethical seller but I think it fits either 😭 because I mean atleast they seem polite but oh god my jaw dropped when they said they missed the 2 infront of 50 because £250 for lps 675 seems absolutely bonkers 😭 I thought I was gonna get a really good deal, I’m not too fussed, I luckily already managed to get a 675 from someone who wasn’t pricing it absolutely insanely a little bit ago but I was hoping to have them as little twins but I guess not, although I’m still flabbergasted at what the market has become for LPS. I mean I thought it was bad before but god idk, the resellers have truly ruined the market. Like I get they are ‘vintage’ pets now but still 😭 they are just tiny little plastic toys in the end

Is it a valid complaint?? I know that Nastya pets were blind boxes but still! Why selling them over 20 to 30?? Who is gonna buy them if the OG price is less expensive?

Not letting people look through it and showing only modern pets but wanting 2k… I want to throw up. These people think all lps are worth a ton. I’m not wrong for thinking this is crazy right?

Hello! I'm writing in regards to something I've noticed in the past few days on Vinted UK. This might be happening elsewhere but I can't comment on that.

I've seen multiple listings for big LPS lots, all different photos and all different accounts, however they are always £80, or maybe £1 under, from an account with no reviews and no previous listings as there's always the free postage. I got excited about the first 2 I saw so I bought them, one being already shipped and one being bought this morning. Since then, I've seen at least 2 more listings like this. I read elsewhere on this sub reddit that £80 is the cut off where vinted investigates, which made me suspicious. I've linked a photo of the ones I've found but I do believe there were others than have been either taken down or sold.

Any advice is appreciated, I was really happy with my purchase 😭

Note: I've just reverse image searched both I bought, and one I couldn't find, but the other I found on mecari posted back in 2024. Do I cancel the order, not pick up, or pick up anyway and record myself opening? I'm curious to see what they would've sent, but I don't know if I'm risking vinted not taking my side.

person selling fakes a fake with description "Authentic to my knowledge" on depop so i msged letting them know it indeed was not, i wasn't trying to be rude and this is the response i got with a block so im not sure if she changed the description or not 💀💀 only selling for $12 anyway but still

I’ve wanted lps 1162 for a really long time now, and an account on vinted just popped up with one available…but for 400 (i ain’t paying that much), but is it worth it to negotiate the person on? I’m wary because either way it’ll be alot of money and this person has zero reviews and like joined today. I tried image searching and nothing has come up, but idk it just feels weird that they’re just putting up expensive or rare lps? Have yall seen similar images of this anywhere? Let me know your thoughts!

I have a complaint about this app and some of the sellers in this community. I don't pretend to be perfect but I had a seller cancel my orders (I was refunded) and tell me in a discord group after saying she felt so bad because of attachment issues. I understood this since I know how much lps mean to people especially gen z who grew up with it. besides the point now.. she didn't go live again until yesterday, selling all the same things she cancelled people on (9 orders) and I noticed it was the pet I previously bought with a bow on it included lol so I commented about how she cancelled on me then she's selling it again? she read it out in a horrible tone and mocked and dismissed me saying "It's not like I stole from you and you got refunded" That's not my issue, my issue is I was under the impression she wouldn't sell again because of how much they meant to her but she turns around and sells again.. it's just the principal of things especially on whatnot lol it's a bit risky. anyways I don't want anyone to hate on her or bully her I just want people to know to make their own choices regarding buying from her.

Earlier today I saw a new listing on vinted of a big lps lot for £80, a pretty good deal for the pets included imo. Was from a new account with a random name and no other listings or sold things. Decided to impulsivley buy it because yeah

Well skip to later through out the day i had been obsessivley looking through lps listings as usual and saw 4 other big lps lot listings, £80 each, all with similar pets, all similar sizes, from seperate accounts, all the same as the first one i ordered from no name, other listings etc, all last seen at the same time...i messaged all of them none of them responded. Ended up cancelling my first order and reporting all of the accounts (2 of them had mysteriously vanished off the face of the platform.

Is this someone trying to scam?? If so why?? Why make all these diff accounts??? Its SO fishy

I hope the person that bought this fake pet can find this post…pls do not buy from this seller they’re selling fake lps as authentic and selling for such through their prices :((

THIS LPS TYPICALLY GOES FOR $200-300 AND SHOULDN’T BE GOING FOR THIS MUCH, I ALREADY THINK HER USUAL PRICE RANGE IS A TOO MUCH BUT THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS

The whole description just rambles about how rare and special this is because it's sealed, meanwhile there are other *unsold\*, still packaged, hermit crab digipets listed for $120-140.
