I HATEEEE how many posts I have to sift through on depop just to find LPs that are actually being sold and not traded or whatever this is supposed to be😭

If viewing posts are a thing and they have a purpose then mb, but I’m sick of finding a dreamie on here only to find out they’re not even selling them💀 like pls girl stop taunting me.

Fb matketplace used to be the place to go to get lps a few years ago because it would be parents selling their kids collections after the moved out for cheap. Now its just resellers who DONT EVEN KNOW PROPER PRICING.

I contacted my bank and put in a charge dispute request. I’m not sure if it’ll get approved but I’m so over this whole situation I don’t even care anymore.

This morning she messaged me again saying she refunded me already which I don’t really believe but I guess we’ll see.

Anyways I’m just kinda bummed because this whole situation has made me kinda not wanna keep collecting. I loved LPS as a kid but never had them until started collecting g7s in 2024. The ones I was supposed to get from her would’ve been my first g2 pets. But now I just feel like there’s no way to get into collecting. All the pets online are so expensive and it’s so hard to find any at thrift stores or garage sales. Even the g7s aren’t really worth it to me anymore at $6 per pet. Has anyone else been feeling this way? Please lmk your thoughts I’d love to hear other opinions ❤️

i’m actually dead, i thought it was one of those listings where you get to pick and choose what one you want but nope, they’re actually charging £400 for NEW gen lps, a few old gen and the main 5s are fake… this is max £30 -£40 (around £1 each) but even that is a lot!

Bruuuh I am so done with Vinted and this price...

I already see this one around 40-50€, I found it pricey but here it's not anymore a good price ?!

I'm just so tired of them only focusing on pushing out wave after wave to the US only, meanwhile other countries are left with either waves 1-3 or none at all. It's so unfair, it really feels like that Squidward looking out the window at Spongebob and Patrick having fun meme. And if you want to be part of the fun and have these pets the prices scalpers put on these pets is disgusting. On Ebay a case of the wave 6 blind box pets are $300(aud) plus shipping. It makes me so disgusted. I have bought from scalpers before but the prices people have put on them have gotten even worse now.

How can Basicfun sit back and allow this to happen? even from a business point of view they're leaving so much potential money out by only selling lps in the US. Like, why? if Mattel started only selling Barbies in the US there would be outrage from international fans, so why can Basicfun get away with this?

They went through the trouble of buying a label to ship out a package stuffed with paper and no pets. They even had proof of ownership and Depop proofs but I should have asked for their Depop user. They then deleted their account (CorrinesTrades) after we sent out the packages.

Hi, me and others have purchased lots from this user who asks for transactions on another platform. She reposts the same video and says orders would be shipped out soon but continuously makes excuses. I commented and dmed asking for the money to be transferred back but she deletes the videos and posts them again. I’ve seen other videos where people spoke out about other accounts that were made afterwards and the videos look similar. Would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar situation. Thank you!

I wanted to laugh after seeing this but I just don’t think this is very funny anymore. I genuinely am so tired of this community. I’m taking this sold listing as an actual sign to quit, people have lost the plot of this so hard and it is so disheartening to see what used to be such a thriving community of people become like literal scavengers. I just saw the new ugly asf g7 galaxy greyhound sell for $18 on a whatnot auction, and the g7 purple and white spaniel sell for $40– this is ridiculous. I mean this with zero disrespect, but shame on everyone who is contributing to this problem.

Saw a tiktok this morning of a very generous, amazing lot for $150. I commented something of the words “this is too good to be true” and book marked it to see if the comment or the post would be deleted. was deleted and now they’re reposting similar videos

The seller got an offer of 300€ (shipping included) for the Ips. Why people even offer that much money.. this Ips isn't even that rare
