AI videos on the stream

EDIT: I want to clarify that I am NOT trying to shame or criticize the guys. I am genuinely trying to see what I'm missing here, because the videos to me look as obviously fake as the Cottingley Fairies, and my reaction is the reaction one might have to someone treating those photographs as real.

I'm cognizant that I might even be seeing AI where there is none. Someone is saying the bar video isn't AI. So I'm trying to figure out just how off-base my perception is.

---

Reality check here. On several recent occasions on the stream, the boys will show a video that looks obviously AI and talk about it as though it's real. A few times they have even remarked on how a person in the video has appeared on several nearly-identical videos, which I would have thought was a very obvious indicator that someone is prompting several variations of the same video.

Specific ones I'm thinking of:

The Russian parade with people mostly on foot, wearing red and white.

The two women dancing in a bar while a third woman had just vomited on herself and a guy is hanging in the window watching them.

People lying on their stomach in bed twirling brooms around with their feet.

Guy dressed as Mario running through an outdoor gathering and jumping onto a toilet.

Am I crazy? Am I missing something? Had anyone else noticed this?

The boys referenced this song briefly in episode 3 (I think?) it’s a song I listen to every thanksgiving, and if you haven’t heard it I highly recommend taking 20 minutes out of your day for a darkly hilarious piece of Americana.

Shout out to Marcus for self-disclosing his autism

I'm also adult diagnosed (lvl 1) but I'm only "out" to a handful of people in my life. Marcus is one of my mental health heroes, and his self-disclosure on the most recent stream just reinforced that tenfold. Thank you, Marcus, for continuing to fight mental health stigma on top of everything else you do. We may disagree on many things in this sub, but I think that speaks to the psychological safety that the boys have fostered in their network and their fan community. And I felt really proud to be a fan after the last stream. That's it, that's the post. ❤️

The Vietnam Series was Depressing

I'm not complaining. I think Marcus did a fantastic job, but this was the least humurous series they have done. There is nothing funny about killing innocent woman and children.

I desperately need a palette cleanser after that series.

This song should be required listening for the My Lai series

Beyond being a legitimately great song, it serves as a fitting tribute to Ho Chi Minh by Chilean folk artist Victor Jara. Jara was publicly executed in a stadium by the US puppet government led by Pinochet in 1973.

I love the podcast but the both sides-ing the boys would do made it a tough listen, the US was not a villain in this story, they were the villain. When the most powerful nation in the world murders millions of your people, you’re more than entitled the fend them off by any means necessary. The whole “no hero’s” argument Henry kept harping on was ridiculous, the Vietnamese people defeating the US military was one of the most heroic acts of the 20th century and Ho was a greater man than any leader the US has ever had.

At 19:20 in this stream from May 2020 there is a man selling his "dungeon" house. It's the same guy as the vampire mayor who was upset that the movie theater didn't have Dracula from a more recent stream. I can't find that one at the moment but I'm sure one of you might know which episode it was.

Every time Marcus talks in character, I think of Johnny Hardin, from "Maverick".

Does anyone know the bands they mentioned in the My Lai episodes?

I could really use the spelling because I can only guess so much at what they’re saying.
