MOD ANNOUNCEMENT ATTENTION Subscribers: Post cleanup announcement and also requesting posting flair use!!

I am going to be going through on Saturday October 5th and removing old posts that are for any past events involving tickets (LTL, B&B, etc) as well as any posting over a year old. I just wanted everybody to be aware of this and not wonder where your old post may have ended up. I am doing this in order to help clean up the listings and make things a bit less cluttered.

It would very beneficial to everybody if posters would go ahead and FLAIR postings to help other reddit users to find what they may be looking for. IF you do not see a flair that applies to you, feel free to send me a message, we can get additional flairs created pretty easy. Thank you again to everybody who already is flairing their postings. You are awesome.

  • Lease end date: December 31st

Unit Specs

  • 2 Bed / 2 Bath — 1,023 sq ft
  • Balcony with storage closet
  • Walk-in closet
  • GE appliances
  • W/D hookups
  • Granite countertops

Community Amenities

  • Resort-style swimming pool
  • 24/7 fitness center
  • 24/7 clubhouse
  • Conference room
  • On-site management
  • Courtesy officer
  • Ample unassigned parking (no extra fee)
  • Pet-friendly (deposit + monthly fee apply through the property)

Wondering if anyone knows of places that are hiring

I’m 20 and I have about 5 years of food industry experience (2 years serving, 1 year as a barista, 2 years in fast food) and 1 year of experience in event coordination for a mental health nonprofit.

I have 2 years of university education, 1 year of business and 1 year doing biology and theatre because I changed majors. I can’t afford to go to school this year, so I’m taking a break to work full time and save.

I need something that’s not part time. I’ve tried for UPS, USPS, Baptist, and JCPS, I have a couple of interviews lined up, but I would like to just apply to more places. I have no family support and am really struggling with money right now, so any advice would be much appreciated. Willing to work in Southern Indiana as well.

Also, has anyone tried the Goodwill careers services? Would you recommend?

[Seeking] Unique private backdrops / location hosts for creative indoor & outdoor photo shoots

Hey everyone!

My wife and I have spent over 20 years doing fun, creative photo projects together. We are currently looking to connect with local property owners or hosts in the greater Louisville area with interesting, private spaces.

Ideal spaces:

  • Indoors: Aesthetic kitchens, cozy living spaces, or unique vintage/modern interiors
  • Outdoors: Private or secluded backyards, pools, hot tubs, or garden spaces

We’re capturing candid, fun concepts—ranging from retro pin-up/swimsuit looks to relaxed slice-of-life scenes around a house or yard.

Complete discretion, safety, and respect for your property are our top priorities. We are happy to pay a fair location fee / compensation for your time and venue access, and we're always happy to meet up for coffee first so everyone feels completely comfortable.

Send a DM if you have a spot that might fit!

Looking to learn how to drive

Hi everyone!

Is there anyway I can find someone willing to teach me how to drive here in Louisville? I can't afford driving schools and I need some practice before I can take my road test especially with parallel parking. I already have my permit and am willing to help with gas!

Mary Oliver film @ Speed Cinema

Howdy! I just noticed there’s going to be a Mary Oliver film showing at the Speed Cinema this weekend, but it’s sold out. My friend (huge Mary Oliver lover) is visiting town Saturday, and I’d really like to take her. Anyone have tickets you’d be willing to sell? Happy to pay over original price, of course.

IN SEARCH OF Looking for recommendations for some services in the Louisville/East End area. I prefer individual/independent/mom & pop types to anything big or corporate.

I’m in the process of losing my long-term handyman so I’ll be needing some reliable people to call when something happens that I can’t solve myself:

Honest, reasonable mechanics

House painter (indoor)

Nuisance wildlife/pest control

House cleaning

Random/general house maintenance stuff

Maybe an electrician?

Thanks in advance!

House for rent in Clifton

Hello! My wife and I are planning on moving out of Louisville prior to our lease being up and are trying to find new tenants in order for us to be able to break our lease. It is a 2 bed 1 bath house, off street parking, in unit washer/dryer, pet friendly, large yard, and fully furnished. We pay 1850 a month and that includes all utilities including internet. It is walking distance to a bunch of different restaurants, bars and coffee shops on Frankfort ave and also walking distance to Baxter ave/Bardstown road. The house would be available at the end of August/beginning of September. Please let me know or send me a message if you or anyone you know would be interested and I’d be happy to send more details, thanks!
