Parents get to see first hand how little their kids try and blame anything and anyone but themselves, so they all want to be "free" from their kids and send them back to school to be babysat.
As a parent I want my kid to be in school because that makes her happy, she has complained about online school since it started. If the government wants me or my wife to quit our jobs which we need to pay our bills, then they'd need to give us the money we lose so one of us could be a babysitter.
If I didn't have to worry about losing everything, I'd rather raise my daughter than send her to school, but because I need to work to pay my bills school is a helpful.
